Linden Garden Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Linden

This is by far the worst place to eat! I placed an order for me and my family on 7/3/19. A chicken and broccoli combo meal which comes with an egg roll. A plain broccoli with a side or brown sauce. A quart of sweet and sour chicken and a general tso chicken combo with shrimp fried rice. Now normal the combos come with a pork egg roll well this place decided to just change that to a shrimp egg roll without any notice. The reason they said they did this without notification is because they say they thought we didn't eat meat! That's crazy!!! The reason I'm so upset and even writing this review is because I am allergic to shrimp!!! And guess who one of the egg rolls was for. ME!!! As soon as I noticed the shrimp I dropped the egg roll and took a Benadryl and then called the restaurant up. The owner decided to tell me that she would just drive me a new egg roll! I don't care about the egg roll. They almost sent me to the hospital and all they care about is giving me a $2 credit. I told her that I was allergic and she had the nerve to tell me that I didn't inform her that I was allergic to shrimp. I said why would I have to tell you I didn't order shrimp rolls I ordered the egg rolls. After about 5 minutes of her saying there was nothing she could I hung up the phone and left it at that. Needless to say we will never eat there again and just beware before...

I ordered food over the phone with my cash app card. I did not include the tip usually I do if I do not have cash on me. That was Saturday night as soon as the transaction goes through of course everyone knows that you’ll get a notification. I got a my notification. The total transaction was $31.12 why did I get another notification the next day for $35.12. I did not tip the driver because he rudely and aggressively asked for a cash tip. I sent him off with a tip but it wasn’t cash. Why the driver tipped himself $2.00. So unless you want fraudulent activities going on with your card I suggest you do use this Chinese food service. It’s a shame because the food is actually decent. I know it’s only $2.00 but it’s my $2.00 and I am a principal person you can’t just tip yourself. If he does that to 10 people a day and no one reports him y’all do the math it’s fraud! Update!!!!! After calling and speaking to the owner and letting her know I am filling a report why the delivery guy just came to my door and brought me my two dollars back ! How scary please be...

I’ll be calling the linden police department this morning and pressing credit card fraud against this restaurant and the owners as last night I ordered food and the person who took the order was extremley rude and the delivery driver was just as rude and the food was horrible which is a lesson learned that’s fine idc about spending money to see if food is nasty or not it’s apart of life but what I won’t put up with is someone illegally charging my credit card for a tip that I did not authorize that my friends is called credit card fraud it doesn’t matter if it is for 50 cents they illegally charged my card extra money after I received my food because I didn’t tip them which a tip is earned it’s not something your entitled to remember that and your service was trash , so no tip was going to be given but you want to illegally charge me well good luck with that cause now I’ll be pressing charges and it’s going to cost a lot more then 2 dollars to hire...
