Napoleon's Cremepuffery — Restaurant in Lindenwold

Good but not great.

I was expecting a bigger creampuff. Also, while the fillings were delicious, the pastry was not that great, to the point where it took something away from the great taste of the fillings. I tried the vanilla, chocolate, pistachio, banana, and strawberry creampuffs.

I would love to see a homemade puff with those fillings because they were great. These looked and tasted mass produced. Also, just a giant traditional crosscut creampuff. That was kind of the expectation I had when I would pass by.

I also tried the shortbreads. A nice variety but not enough butter and salt. They are more like pan cookies than shortbread in the true sense. I tried the raspberry, chocolate chip, and rocky road. If I judged them as cookies, they were ok. Since they are advertised as shortbreads, there is an expectation of a crumbly mouthfeel that I didn't get from these. Nonetheless, they are decent cookies. I would like to see a plain English shortbread (not a sugar cookie).

Since I pass by so much, I may return, but it was not something I would go out of my way for a second...

Let me just start off by saying that being 13 weeks pregnant is no fun. Constant neausea, fatigue and back pain have been my life for the past 2 months. All I wanted in the world was one thing; Napolean's Cream Puffs. I called up and such a sweet lady answered the phone. Charlene was so kind and understanding. It turns out, I had called on the first day of thier winter break. She explained how she was in just to sell out the remaining stock and she will only be there until its all gone. Being the crazy workaholic I am, I was stuck at work until a late hour and knew if I had waited, I would miss out. She completely understood and took my name and number and said she would call me if they had sold out so I wouldn't waste a trip. What a Saint! I called her about 2 hours later and told her that my husband will be right over if there are any left. Turns out, she had set aside a baker's dozen for me already. You have no idea how amazing it was coming home after a long day at work to Napolean's! Thanks Charlene! They were amazing!

Found it! 🤣 It is at this location. But the hours listed are incorrect. I’ll post the hours in my pictures. So because it was my first time I got a sampler box. If you like to have a little taste of everything this is exactly what you want! The puffs are airy and the inside is nice and creamy. The cookies… The cookie bars are so yummy! My favorite was the raspberry cookie bar. OMG delicious! I didn’t get to try the carrot cake but my husband…. Well he devoured it! He loved it so much that he requested one for his birthday. Their customer service was amazing and they were patient and kind. I highly recommend a visit.
