Arby's — Restaurant in Lindström

Use to be a great Arbys. The quality and service has dropped a bit. The fries are sometimes stale, and the cashier isn't always paying attention to customers. They can be a bit pushy too. I went to the drive thru to order a couple of sandwiches and a turnover. They informed me that they were out of turnovers and tried to convert me to their lava cakes and I said that's okay just the sandwiches will do. What wasn't okay was after I said no at the menu board and drove up to the window and the same woman (from the sound of her voice) try again to sell me the lava cakes again. I was a little more forward this time and said "your lava cakes are dry and gross to me, I'll just stick to my sandwiches if you please." She kept trying to sell the cakes by saying "theyre not dry at all there's a new type of chocolate we use now." I had enough of this pushy individual and just simply said I don't want your damn lava cakes. Just give me my food so I can leave." Finally my food came up and I left. I get restaurants try to upsell, which doesn't bother me, but I should have to say no 3 times or more to get my point across. Went in to eat at this location. At 1st the crew was laughing and giggling about how my son knew what he wanted and then by the end of it they were kicking us out. My husband went to return his sandwich because it was cold and soggy. The cook started saying how he made that sandwich and it was just fine. Smacking his braided hair and going to make more food. (Gross) then my husband said if you have a problem say it to me and the cook went off on how he was going to clock out and beat his ass. Along with the rest of the crew chiming in on how my husbands clothes were and talking about my kid. This is the worst arbys around and that cook needs to be fired before he gets arbys a lawsuit....

Every time I visit this place I'm blown away with the exceptional customer service. They are always busy and short handed and provide smiles and friendly conversation. Jase, usually taking orders, delivers above and beyond customer service both front and back of house. Maria, obviously in some capacity as a manager overwhelms with her friendly smile, demeanor and is always upbeat. Sam, who seems to be the shift leader when I'm there, is constantly providing direction to her staff, smiling and joking with customers inside, all while taking drive through orders with ease.
