I shouldn't have to give 1 star to leave a review,, 2.6 stars ghee.. wonder why???? I .will continue to reach out to Corporate until I have results. I can't believe how distasteful of experience and how unwell mannered and lack of ability to provide customer service goes on here!!! I was told that the prices had gone up twice within 1 week. Turns out these illiterate WORKERS are mentally challenged and they do not know how to ring up orders. I was called several B words by a worker there name Roland and another I believed named Chris, there was also a young lady working this shift that decided to get loud, I'm guessing to defend her coworkers lack of knowledge of how to work a register. .. My frustration is what they say gave them the right to retaliation. I will NOT let this matter GO. I will actively reach out to all necessary parties until people of this CHARACTER ARENT ALOUD TO make anyone's food!!! The manager Maria and Cesar weren't much help Maria seemed completely helpless let alone totally disappointed in her staff. She had no control over such reckless behavior that she told me it was best to leave. This is unacceptable. What I usually order was $6.41 prices had gone up I understand that so I had been paying $8.01 since Jan 6th for one breast and two sides. NO DRINK but today the price had increased to $9.70 ... when I questioned this and explained that I was just here on the 6th the person Chris continued to over talk me when I told him to stop he then told me that they didn't want my money and to leave!!! I walked in and had the manager Maria ring up this order it turns out that the price was in fact $8.01!!! ITS THE PRINCIPLE that at least if you go as far to name call someone be in the Right!!! This is disgusting. I will never eat from this place again. My main goal now is to continue to pursue action so that others never have to experience this behavior coming people who handle FOOD.. Read moreI feel completely disrespected! I come here often, because I work third shift and my office is down the street. But after what occurred earlier I NEVER WANT TO COME HERE AGAIN! At 1207 I pull up to the drive-thru (where it clearly says drive-thru open until 12:30) and no-one answers, i sit there for a few minutes, honk & say hello a few times and after no answer i pull up to the window. I see people in there working and I honk my horn trying to get someones attention, the younger guy looks at the window then completely ignores me! So I start knocking on the window to get the attention of the African american lady a little older then the guy. She was wearing, what looked like a manager shirt, even though with how she spoke to me she really shouldn't be! She comes up to the window, and snottily asks "are you trying to break the window"? I respond confused and a bit agitated at this point "Um no i was trying to order". Then she rudely stated, "Obviously the lights were off, we closed early today". I pulled into the lot to make a phone call and she was just standing in the window watching me while 2 other cars went to the drive-thru (more store sales missed). Not only do they suck at orders and making the food correctly, they don't even stay open until the time they have on the door. And they defiantly aren't 24 hours like google...
Read moreI've been to this location in the past and had a very bad experience with service and cleanliness so I stayed away for about 2 years. Normally I will go to Popeyes however my wife told me about the "Fill Up" promotion going on. I was ready to go to the Lombard location on Roosevelt however I didn't feel like the drive so I took a chance again here at the Lisle - Maple Ave location and I have to say, I was really satisfied with the service, quality of the food and the overall price. I decided not to use the drive-up window because I wasn't sure what to order and I went inside. I decided on chicken strips, mashed potatoes, Cole slaw and biscuits for the family. It seemed like on this particular evening of December 19, 2020 the ordering of the food and the service was exceptional. The staff was very friendly in helping me as well as what sauces were available. When I got home, everyone thought the chicken strips were very good, crisp and not greasy. Everything else was excellent as well. Sorry Popeye's, you may have lost me for a customer!! A special call out for the staff that evening. I hope management see's this review and pass on the well-deserved "Kudos"...
