ATC South St — Restaurant in Litchfield

My husband and I were incredibly excited to try atc south street for my birthday. We had high hopes given how great @ the corner has been over the years. The cocktails were incredible! Every single one was perfect. However the tacos were terrible. I was so disappointed. We decided to try the churros for dessert and they were delicious. I just can’t get past my disappointment in the flavorless inauthentic tacos. We tried all but the vegetarian taco. The chicken and the pork were flavorless. The steak was chewy and sliced too thick, but had the most flavor. The beef short rib needs more flavor and needs to be grilled more so the shell has a little crunch. The tuna was bland. Everything needed salt. The cocktails were good enough to warrant another trip, hopefully they will make some changes based on the feed back they get over the coming weeks. We are optimistic...

Let's just say, take out might be what you'll want to do if you're only planning on eating. The wait for the food is just alot longer then it should be. If you want to get some drinks, it has a good atmosphere. Ordered the chips and guac, received nice warm tasty chips and what I can only assume was avocado cut up and stirred (not sure if that can actually ever be called guac in any kitchen). Ordered revenge of the Krakon and the presentation was completely different from what was supposed to be there. The Birria and the Korean tacos were definitely really good. The Birria had a lot cheese and beef, the dipping sauce didn't really add much to the flavor as you'd expect from a birria taco, but the taco is very good. I had heard good things about ATC South Street from my coworkers, so I was really excited to visit with my mom for dinner! My mom was obsessed with the coconut margarita she had here and said it was the best she’s ever had! I really liked my strawberry hibiscus Agua Fresca too. Each order of tacos came as a single taco, but you truly didn’t need more than that because they were filled generously. Loved the street corn dip, and I thought the birria quesadillas were really tasty too! It was a nice vibe there, and our server was very attentive and friendly. Definitely a good option to have...
