Parkview Hotel — Restaurant in Lititz

Horrific service. Rude. Over the top

Went there after my sisters wedding with a group of about 15 people; I being the youngest at 26. All of our IDs were taken, we were marched across the bar like some sort of spectacle (all in tuxes and dresses) to the “ID card station” where bouncer #2 took our IDs. #2 proceeded to scan and blacklight each ID and gave them back to #1 who called out our names one at a time like we were school children. One in our group, visiting from Wisconsin, didn’t have her ID on her. They wouldn’t allow any of us to get a drink until she left the bar (once again, at 26 I was by far the youngest). Ridiculous. Totally killed the vibe for the whole group.

I completely understand trying to stay a respectable establishment; but, if this is Lititz’s attempt to boost their popularity and night time business they’re off to a horrible start.

Also... they didn’t even have Busch Light. I mean in a bar so thick with smoke you can’t breathe???

Yeah, I’ll stick...

The Parkview is a great little dive bar in Lititz. The bar isn't trying to be anything it's not, and neither are the regulars. It makes for a very relaxed atmosphere. They don't serve food, so you can still smoke in the bar. My wife and I don't smoke anymore, but if you ever have you know that smokers are naturally a more social crowd which makes the bar a little more fun. Add in some of the best drink prices in town and a couple pool tables and it is easy to see why people...

What can't I say about the parkview...... If you want a dive bar that has awesome prices and atmosphere this is the spot. Service is always great and with 2 pool tables you can't lose unless your playing pool or skillz machines!!!

UPDATE: I'll update this over a year later and it hasn't changed. It's a really fun bar with amazing vibes. I went tonight to meet up with a child hood friend to shoot pool and that's what we did. AWESOME time good people and...
