I used to go to this Taco johns a lot, but they have significantly gone downhill recently.
The last two times I've gone to this location, (a 15 minute drive from where I am) I've given my order, and specifically asked for the "original Sauce" as it is now being promoted as being available again. Since TJ's current sauces are terrible, I was excited and made sure to order it.
Both times, I specified that I wanted the "original" sauce, and asked if I could get( and even pay for) lots of it. They assured me three times that this was okay and they would do this.
The first time i tried to order it, it was only at the window to pay for the food that they bothered to put the SOLD OUT sticker over the sauce, as opposed to on the sign where, you know, people order. They never once, in the FIVE TIMES I mentioned wanting said sauce did they tell me they were sold out. The first time, I was frustrated.
Came back a week later and they did the SAME THING. No sauce. Didn't tell me it was sold out, had NO signage where you order that it was sold out and was assured multiple times that they had it. not only that,
So my less than nice TL:DR- This place is bad. They don't pay any attention to what they are doing. They've missed items, charged me for things I've never received, and consistenly take around 15 minutes per person in the drive-thru.
This last time, the person taking my order asked me if everything on the screen looked correct. THEY DONT EVEN HAVE A SCREEN lol
Yeah, I'm not trusting these people to cook and prepare food for me anymore. I left without taking my food, so they also wasted food by being deceitful and trying to...

I worked a 16 hour shift sat in the drive through patiently for 10 minutes thinking the person working there would get my order right because they took their sweet Mary time making it and ironically I ordered at 9:30pm thirty minutes before close time- just wanted to end the night on the right note and it just didn’t happen
By time I get home to my husband and two crying hungry kids it’s 10p to discover that yall charged me $6.00 for two missing items and I want that money back. I paid $43.14 in total for all that food and my husband was PISSED that you guys took advantage of me and chose to not thoroughly make sure the order was fulfilled before giving it to me at the window.
Had to give our kids our #8 combos and my husband and I ate part of their oles and those tiny fried chicken tacos, at least we made sure our kids didn’t go hungry- my husband and I were certainly not satisfied that we had missing items in our order and we had hoped the night would end off good by going out of our way to get taco John’s but unfortunately it didn’t.
At least when we go to Taco Bell they get our order right 100% we go there we get EVERYTHING that we ask! Do NOT go to taco John’s an hour before closing they will rush through you because they need to clean and lock...
Read moreEmployees at the drive thru and cooks did an excellent job. I finally tried a beef taco salad for the first time ever. I did this because Taco Bell does not serve taco Salads or Mexican pizzas any longer. I wish that Taco John's would add a thin layer of refried beans on the bottom of the taco bowl. The taco bowl had a real nice crunch and taste to it. I added 5 packages of mild hot sauce to the salad. There was something that had a bite to the salsa on the salad. My tongue had a slight burn to it for a few minutes after taking a bite. I really enjoyed the salad. Since I had not had a taco salad at Taco John's before I wanted to go into the order counter and discover what was in the salad. I parked the car and walked over to the door, grabbed the handle only to notice that it was locked. I looked inside and there were about 10 people having a meeting. I was a little ticked off that they just didn't hold the meeting in a corner of the restaurant and still have the restaurant open for business. The drive thru was open and the person who took my order explained with great accuracy what was in the beef taco salad. I had not been in this restaurant on Rice Street and 694 since it was remodeled. I have been in the old one...
