WOW, honestly if I could give this business more stars I would, 20/10 would recommend! Me and my partner were over from Yorkshire,UK and were exploring New Jersey. Coming back from Atlantic City we really wanted a good sandwich shop (hoagie/sub) and really wanted to visit a small business rather than a chain. We found this place after searching and seeing the great reviews. Can I just say the service is second to none, the ladies who served us were lovely and had some really good conversations, and the owner Paul is fantastic and so funny he did so much for us and made us feel really welcome, he was the reason we went back a second time. To me it doesn't matter how good the food is (which was beaut) but it's the service that always brings us back. We even got some tshirts! Which was such a wonderful thing to do for us. Firstly the hoagies are AMAZING, for our initial visit I had the Italian and it was packed FULL with meat cheese and salad, the bread was beautiful (I like that they don't cut it all the way through so the fillings stay in) and he gave us some crisps(chips ) that he thought would go well with our food. On our second visit (of which we drove 2 hours out of our way, to get one last hoagie before the airport and to say bye ) We ordered another Italian and a cheese steak. He gave us an extra cheese steak which we have actually not stopped talking about is was that GOOD, we saved the Italian to share at the airport which was a life saver as we were mega delayed! He also gave us a bag of fries which I would definitely recommend ordering, they were stunning. On an end note VISIT PAULS DELI! We'd be there every day if we didn't live over 3000 miles away. We'll see you when we are back!

YUM! This is the best hoagie I’ve had in a long time. Made the way a true philly/south jersey style hoagie should be made. THE BREAD…they nailed it on the rolls! I had the stanky Italian , for sure their signature sandwich. Customer service was great, it’s clean inside. There was even a “Dance Zone” taped out on the floor and “Where’s Waldo” posters framed on the wall - adds to the fun atmosphere of the place. Will go back. Will try the cheesesteaks and other menu items! Highly recommend!

I'm Paul's neighbor and I just wanted to say how proud I am of him first and foremost. I've known Paul for 6 years now and I'm here to attest thats he's a great human besides just a deli owner. Paul's the type of guy that will shovel your driveway or cut your grass when you're in a hospital without asking and I can go on but I won't.

The subs, hero's, hoagies, sandwiches, etc., whatever you personally call them are all delicious. The bread is fresh, proportions hefty, and ingredients are all top shelf. I'm a North Jersey, Hudson County guy and I've been waiting for a true delicatessen down here for quite some time. You feel the love as soon as you enter. The staff are all helpful and display humanism about it also which makes you comfortable as a customer.

Thanks for everything Paul. From your neighbor and...

My cousin got a few hoagies from here while camping, said it was one of the best he has ever had, I immediately wanted to try. We drove down after work to try, my wife got an Italian and I got a Genoa salami and provolone cheese hoagie and some pasta salad. Everything was amazing, not one item over powered another, meat sliced perfect, lettuce chopped fine and fresh, onions were paper thin and crisp, and the tomatoes were ripe and all held together by a roll that was strong enough to hold it all together but soft enough for it not to be too chewy. In my honest opinion this is the best Hoagie I have eaten in a long long time, definitely better than white house sub and sugar hill. Will definitely make the hour drive back for another one. Paul, to you and your crew, thank you for an awesome Hoagie, keep up...
