Learn moreFINALLY !!! We have a Beef-A-Roo !!! What took so long? I grew up in Rockford, Illinois so, I know all about the great tasting food and shakes. I moved to Hot Springs over 20 years ago. I often wondered. When will Beef-A-Roo come to Little Rock because the business is capable to do well in different states other than Illinois & Wisconsin. I wish you the best of luck and let’s hope Little Rock residents catch on of what I’ve been missing. I will see you guys soon.
UPDATED: 07-06-2025 I visited the Beef-A-Roo restaurant in Little Rock the following day with two other people. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome right from the beginning. I ate a couple hours prior so, I wasn’t terribly hungry. I ordered cheese curds and a medium chocolate shake. The cheese curds were hot and cheesy good. The chocolate shake was thick and delicious. One person with me ordered just a chicken salad sandwich. He said it was very good. The other person ordered a cheeseburger combo meal. The meat on his sandwich was a good size portion of hamburger meat. The rest of the toppings looked very good. I could tell he enjoyed his food. Because, he didn’t even give it a chance to cool down. Normally, he’s a talker and he was actually quiet the whole time eating. Before leaving, I told the staff that I will return soon to eat a pork tenderloin sandwich.
New customers need to keep in mind that everything is made fresh. It’s not like other fast food chains with barely warm cooked hamburger patties kept in containers to quickly prepare sandwiches and baskets full of fries hanging in or near the fryers ready to be bagged. Be patient by waiting and you’ll see what I’m talking about with the...
Read moreIt's your Southern Gent, Chief Apostle Hughes, and this establishment is one you have to hit. It's located in Little Rock on Shackleford next to the Arkansas Credit Union, but across from the Lexus dealership. Yep, you have it. The environment and bathrooms are clean! No odors, toilet paper and paper towels have been stocked each time my personal assistant and I had time to eat and fellowship. It's great to get there early before 10 AM when they open too. We eat, laugh, and have a great time 8n the Lord. The food? We're hooked on those smash burgers though! Chris? My OG on G-R-I-double L? The burgers are seasoned, moist, not dry, the buns are grilled, and that's a plus! The patties are beef and are larger than the bun! It reminds me of when I was much younger and my father would pull over into a malt stand/dairy bar. The sweet tea was on hit everytime! And listeeennn, they have hot cheddar cheese fries...in a cup?! Yes, melted, liquid cheese layered throughout the fries! Salted right and ready for satisfying consumption! I'm a chef, combat veteran, Kingdom Apostle, and a foodie! This place is my new burger spot! I also tried the turkey sandwich with sliced avocado. Turkey is deli-sliced, seasoned, and treated like the burgers. I didn't care for the fresh greens that were added because the heat makes them wilt, but nevertheless, it tapped out and the sweet tea washed it away! They have DAILY specials too! Ask a cashier or manager and they'll pull it up for you or you can visit their website. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 out...

I’ve been here twice. First time for a burger and then for the chicken. The burger was good, made with a seemingly fresh formed patty and topped with the standard fair, it’s your average dairy bar quality. The ultimate chicken sandwich was next. A frozen than fried, blender patty topped similarly to the burger with the special inclusion of BBQ sauce. The taste was acceptable - I found myself comparing it to McD’s chicken sandwiches and I have to say in that category Beef-a-Roo has them beat. I also tried their cheese curds. The curds were fried making the coating pleasantly crispy and the oozing melted cheese inside had the classic mozzarella chew. However, I will note that after having about six or seven curds, I felt I’d had too much.
In terms of atmosphere, you can clearly tell that this is a former Krispy Kreme. Inexpensively painted and decorated. You’ll find the off-white walls with lime green accents and inexpensive chairs create an open and airy dining experience.
Customer service was friendly and efficient. Appears to be counter service only with all the condiments and beverages within customer reach.
I probably won’t frequent this place often. It’s a nice option to have and should make for a good...
