I’ve known about this restaurant ever since their other location on Bowman. This restaurant now resides off Cantrell going towards the BIG DAM BRIDGE. The new location greets you with the front patio which is available if the inside isn’t what you want. Going inside you have a full bar but limited seating in my opinion. I feel this establishment needs more seating but only because this establishment is so good. That’s my only complaint and I mean only complaint other than that I went for brunch and I was able to sit in and little corner by myself and the atmosphere is peaceful and settling. Hearing the guys at the bar and the low conversation I was in chill mode and ready to eat. First I started with the buttered garlic frog legs which were so good. Frog legs I’ve tasted in the past had a tainted taste to them and I really shun away from the whole frog leg experience but the description made me curious to go ahead and try again. Y’all the meat was flavorful and the butter sauce just made them melt in your mouth. They came out hot and ready which made it even better. I had the snapper for my main meal with crawfish rice with crawfish tails within the rice. The service everytime I go is always on point. They are down to earth and it’s a laid back feel. I actually came for a dish I had a while ago which is a deep fried round crap with a sauce which I don’t remember the details but just ask them about it. Pics coming next time I go for dinner. This is a great place for everyone and kids included. Now the menu is not kid friendly and I’m not aware if they have a kids menu so heads up on that. Definitely put them...
Read moreI think I’ve left 2 reviews my entire life, this one being one of them. Both times I’ve only left a bad review, and I’ll tell you why. I have been coming to this place for years, because the service and food is always great! One of my faves actually! But sadly, after today I don’t think I’ll ever go back. We (the other person with me and I) were waited on by a woman named Mya. I have never in my life been made feel so disrespected by a waiter/waitress. She was so rude from the moment she first approached us. Her demeanor, the comments she made at the end, and to top it off, her violent furiousness causing her to knock plates off the table. Which the host was so sweet to help pick up. I proceeded to ask the host what did we do to cause her to behave this way, his response being idk and shaking his head in shock at the way she was treating us. The reason I’m leaving this review is because I have friends in the restaurant industry, and I know for a fact that they would never want their staff behaving this way towards customers. I HAVE NEVER allowed anyone accompanying me to disrespect a waiter/waitress, so the fact that I had to sit and tolerate this throughout my entire meal and pay and tip on top of it all is unacceptable! This reflects poorly on you Faded Rose. I can’t help but wonder why this staff member would feel it is okay to treat others this way at her place of work. Is customer service not something you pride yourself on? This place has left such a distaste to us both all because of ONE individual, and we will not...
Read moreI have been eating at Faded Rose for years. I order the same dish every single time I come. On my most recent visit my food came out cold and scattered on my plate. The presentation was awful. I attempted to speak with the manager and he was extremely rude. He walked off while I was voicing my concern with my dish. He clearly was upset about something else before he arrived to my table. I even had advised him that I had been coming to this particular restaurant for years. He was not concerned if I wanted the dish to be made over. He literally grab the dish off the table aggressively and walked off. The host as well as the bartender knows me. I have never complained about anything at this particular restaurant. It hurt my feelings so bad that after supporting a restaurant for years that in the event of voicing my concern I would be treated like that I begin to cry. The waitress and bartender came over to check on me and continued to apologize for something that they didn’t even do. I work in management so customer service is important because ultimately customers are who keep your doors open. Especially during these times when businesses are closing left and right in Little Rock. To the manager I forgive you how you treated me because it’s the Christian thing to do. I hope god blesses you despite how...
