Our family loves this place. The food is delicious, and the staff is amazing. Everybody is so friendly and courteous. On our latest visit when we were ordering, my wife wanted to know what they put in the chicken salad and tuna salad (she doesn't like fruit or nuts or anything like that in it). The gentleman taking our order (possibly the owner?) was so patient and called back to the kitchen for someone to find out what's in each of the salads. I was really impressed by his willingness to make sure my wife got the information she needed. He obviously wanted her to enjoy whatever she ordered. I usually order the Godfather (chicken parmesan sandwich), which is really, really good, but this time I wanted to try something different. I went with the 1/2 and 1/2 (soup and sandwich), ordering the Waldorf Chicken Salad Sandwich and roasted red pepper and cheese bisque. That soup.... Oh man was it good. I'm definitely getting that again. The sandwich was good too, but I was really pleased with the soup. My wife and daughter usually split the turkey sandwich, but this time the kid got macaroni and cheese, and my wife got the tuna salad stuffed avocado. It looked really good, but I didnt try it because, you know, the soup. As we were finishing up our meal, the same gentleman that took our order came out to check on us. I raved to him about the soup (naturally), and he stayed and talked to us for several minutes before offering our daughter a cookie, her choice, ON THE HOUSE. Just awesome. Again, we love this place and would have returned for many more meals anyway, but the level of service and personal attention we received this time was above and beyond anything we'd experienced at any restaurant before. The folks running this restaurant obviously care about their customers, and it's great to have them in...
Read moreSo bad. My son got a cheese pizza and I couldn't let him finish it because the dough in the middle was all raw. The wait staff were fairly incompetent and trying to order was a very weird experience. We asked for large pizzas and she told us a large was $25 and sort of autocorrected our order to medium pizzas so we just went with it. She also offered us a free cookie before we had even ordered anything else I think which was bizarre. Our meal was interrupted about 4 times by different staff members coming to check in or talk to us, including the chef, which was really weird and just left the impression that the place is run in a very chaotic way and overstaffed. The dough of the pizza is very thick and overall even though mine and my husband's were cooked through okay they just weren't that great. Our total check was about $52 which was absolutely preposterous for the food that was served and the service. My husband paid the check and still tipped, probably from guilt. If I had been doing it the tip would have been zero. Absolutely never again, we felt like we were on an episode of...
Read moreThis was my first time at this place I can say for sure it is certainly not a New York deli. Maybe that was my mistake expecting a New York style belly. I was excited when I walked in. I saw that they made an Italian. With everything on it that you would imagine the oil little vinegar. Got some chips got a drink sat down at my table. They brought it out. They said here’s your Italian. Very excited. I took a bite and it was a ham and cheese on ciabatta bread that was so slathered in mayo it almost fell out of the bread. So needless to say it was incredibly disappointing. Was it a horrible, horrible tasting sandwich. No, was it in Italian no, will I ever go back there again no. It’s a real shame too because when you tell me you’ve got a New York style Delly I’m gonna walk in and expected to be a New York style Delly now granted this is Little rock and it might be as New York as it can be for here. But it’s a shame that I’m so disappointed. So if you’re gonna go at least understand that you’re just going to a regular old sandwich shop and you may or may not get...
