U.S. Pizza | Chenal — Restaurant in Little Rock

Attended this establishment for Brunch and the service was horrible. We ordered and waited more than 40 minutes for our food. The waitress did not check on us during the presentation of our food. 40 minutes or more we had our food delivered and it was over cooked. I asked the waitress if we could see the manager because I felt like we needed to get some form of discount because we had to wait so long and nobody came back to check on it. After the manager came to the table, she was very rude and disrespectful as I proceeded to share my experience with her of the service and the timeframe. She said that we could not get a discount today and that we only waited about 30 minutes for the pizza. She also said they were at the seat to take a little bit longer to prepare. I had them proceed to tell her that we’ve come here numerous times before, and it did not take this long, and the peaches did not look like this. She refused to hear me out and said that there was a large ahead of us, and that we had to wait due to the services that they were being requested to have at the larger party. The manager of abruptly walked away from the table and went to go check on the larger party. I definitely don’t want to make this about race, however, the other table were white people, and we are African-American.

We then asked for the manager to come back to the table because they wanted the phone number of the district office. The manager refused to come back to the table and to provide us in your detailed information. We then asked our waitress any other waitresses what was the name of the manager so that we would have that information as we contacted the corporate office. The managers name is Diane and no one knew what her last name was. We will also be putting a letter together for the Franchise owners of this establishment. We patronize this establishment quite frequently, and honestly have never experienced this type of customer...

To start with the positive the service was good and the people friendly. My wife ordered the salad supreme and she was happy with it so we’d give that 3.5 as it is basically ice berg lettuce. It was what you come to a pizza place for that was disappointing. We ordered stuffy sticks which seem like hot dog buns with a little mozzarella cheese and some sparse pepperoni and red sauce which I assume is also their pizza sauce. The sauce has very little flavor and basically $10 for these is too much. We ordered the large Italian sausage and veggie pizza. When it came it looked undercooked as the cheese was not very melted and the mushrooms were wet and slimy so I am guessing they come from a can and are not fresh. I should have asked them to take it back and cook it some more but we were hungry. My wife picked up a piece and it folded in half and the toppings slipped off. And it was pretty mushy. She would not eat it. I ate two pieces and they seemed off and undercooked. Later at night my gut felt like a rock so my stomach was not happy with it. We took the rest home and I hoped I could cook it a little better as I hate wasting food and it was almost $20. Popped it in the oven and then finished it with the broiler to try and crisp it up. Almost 20 minutes total and it was still mush in the middle and smelled weird. Into the garbage it went. Trying to be fair with my reviews but overall very disappointed to get sub par breadsticks and pizza at a pizza place. I saw other reviews that the pizza is bland and for the two pieces I ate that describes it well. The restaurant was about half full on a Friday at 530 but the pick line was long so some people must be...

With all that is going on and the shortage of staff I always dislike wiritng less than favorable reviews.

This was our first experience eating here and we had high hopes. Three adults we opted to sit outside on the balcony on a chilly night which was absolutely the right decision. Their heaters and the open air feel was amazing!! There was not a lot of people here so it was easy to hold a conversation and there seemed to be plenty of staff. Our waiter was very patient with us as we took our time ordering. When we finally ordered our appetizer took close to 20mins to come out for 6 boneless wings. They tasted great though! Shortly after maybe 10mins 2 out of 3 of our meals arrived. We waited about 10 more minutes for our 3rd meal to arrive because apparently it came out of the oven under cooked.... it was a meat ball sub. By this point it was 30+ minutes since we ordered with very few ppl still at the restaurant so we were a bit disappointed a meatball sub took longer to make then a mini pizza and sandwich.

The sandwich was reasonably portioned and tasted great, the mini pizza was exactly that when our friend had originally ordered a full size small pizza It supposedly tasted good though. Luckily they only charged her for a mini but still she left hungry because if this. The meatball sub was okay...

I might give this place another chance but we spent way to much on dinner for 3 people with how small our portions were and how slow the service was. I wish the waiter had kept us more updated on why stuff was taking so long rather than not showing up until food deliveries.

Give them a chance and hopefully your experience is better...
