Mariscos El Jarrocho — Restaurant in Little Rock

I have mixed feelings about this place. The place is nice very mexican style restaurant. So I guess no one speaks English. But that's okay because the menu is in english😀! I am more confident in reading Spanish than speaking or hearing it. So I spent over $111 in one sitting. Yes! I have kids and they love seafood! So I needed to buy 3 take home plates. It was busy a d the waitress was always saying she understood and walked away. It took an hour to get our food because the waitress never ordered it. So this is the negative thing. She gave me my food and I left with my kids. I got back and I was like here kids put you food up for later. That's when I realized one box was just tortillas..I'm missing a box of food. I go back and I explain. They felt I was lying. I wasnt. People that was there when I left were still there... they even said the lady asked for 3 different meals.and I still had the receipt. She said I must of ate the food there. No ma'am. If this was McDonalds I wouldn't have bothered but I just dropped over a 100 at your restaurant. I just want what I paid for. They call their boss and explain I'm making a fuss. I am not I am very respectful I even called my friend that speaks Spanish to interpret my problem. She ended up coming explaining that I am not a con artist. Long story short I got my missing meal. Moral off story. Check before leaving . Now the food. It was amazing. I mean they have this seafood soup that ...its awesome every dip of spoon comes out with something magical... it's a must for any fan of seafood and Mexican. I believe they are not trusting in other races. And that makes me sad and I understand due to being a black woman. I will continue going but I will just order order take out. Please eat...
