The customer service was good, especially from the cashier. It was really nice seeing a whole community of people coming to patronize a long time staple of the LR area.

Unfortunately, they did get my order wrong. I asked for a few modifications to my burger. The cashier entered it correctly, but the back of the house staff dressed it incorrectly. When I brought back the burger, they addressed it immediately which again speaks to their good customer service.

I am just concerned that it seemed they did not make a fresh burger for me. Because I received my corrected order within ten minutes after waiting forty minutes the first time, I believe they just removed everything from the meat, put it back on the grill to melt a new piece of cheese. I am not sure if the bun was new or not, but it was burnt. The burger and the fries could use a little more seasoning. Also, I know the goal may be to make sure the burger is not dry; however, they could go a little easier on the condiments.

The lemonade did not taste freshly squeezed. It tasted more like lemonade that was made with bottled lemon juice. The sweet potato pie was delicious, especially the crust.

I will try them again, but I might try the grilled chicken sandwich or the fish next time. I really look forward to trying their fried strawberry...

I see a lot of folks on here complaining about the price, but in this economy you can pay very close to $15 for a cheeseburger combo at McDonalds. You are gonna get a significantly higher quality experience at MacIntosh.

I am so glad we finally got around to eating here. First, the inside is immaculately clean with a nice dining area, great music playing, and attentive staff.

You can tell just by the smell when you walk in that it's gonna be good. As stated above, I got a cheeseburger, fry and drink for $15. The portions are huge. There was not a limp fry in the whole basket and they were perfectly seasoned. The burger was gigantic - the paddy was an inch wider than the bun all around. The bun was buttered to shine, but y'all...the meat was 🤌🤌🤌. I was so impressed I got a slice of sweet potato pie on the way out and I'm just saying, there's a reason they sell the...

I recently went to eat at McIntosh, and I was thoroughly impressed with their fast and very friendly service. Despite ordering four meals, the wait time was only about 8 to 12 minutes, which was much quicker than I expected. The burgers were extremely good, living up to the high expectations I had heard about. I had two of my kids with me so they even cut one burger in half for me. With me small gestures go long ways in customer service.

The lemonade deserves a special mention—it was amazing! However, the one downside was the beverage cups; the lids could definitely use some improvement. But if my only complaint is the beverage container, it's clear that McIntosh is doing something right.

Overall, McIntosh Restaurant is definitely a 5-star experience in my book. If you're on the hunt for a good hamburger, you should definitely...

They welcomed over 100 guests, and I must say, Ms. Ebony and her remarkable team ensured that each one of us felt attended and we were extremely satisfied. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a warm atmosphere filled with laughter and the enticing aroma of delicious food. So many of the locals were even greeting us and telling us the history of the restaurant. Everyone left with satisfyingly full bellies. In particular, I can’t stop thinking about that incredible sweet potato pie, it was unlike anything I've ever tasted before. I would be thrilled to get the recipe, as it was truly the highlight of the meal!

I noticed they were finally open so I stopped in to try the jumbo cheeseburger, fries and lemonade. The burger was pretty good but could've used just a tad more seasoning. The fries were tasty as well and were well-seasoned. I wasn't a big fan of the lemonade though cuz it was a bit strong for me. But I guess that's better than too watered down. Their prices are a bit high but it's nice to have a local independent burger shop as a lunch/dinner option.
