Subway — Restaurant in Little Rock

This clean and friendly Subway location is behind the Markham Walgreen's below UAMS and the VA hospitals. It's convenient for the hospital employees and first responders and the Arkansas Health Department folks that work close by.

It's also a convenient choice for the pharmacy customers next door. The hospital patients or their family members can grab a quick bite because it's on South Cedar Street. It's northeast of UAMS or below the big hill from parking deck 3 at UAMS on the north side very close to Markham.

The building sits between two one way streets that serve the northeast side of the VA and UAMS hospitals and the Capitol Hill and Hillcrest area. The one way streets Cedar and Pine connect to Markham and to I-630. There are two way streets connecting the one way streets, so entering and exiting and looping back around in any direction is easy.

So I know everybody knows the big package of coupons you get in the mail all the time that looks like an entire newspaper! So I see some coupons in there from Subway and I'm thinking those are pretty good so not being a coupon guy I cut those out and went to Subway by UAMS and whenever I presented the coupon to the lady behind the counter she said that they didn't accept that coupon! So I showed her all the coupons I had and she went through them one-by-one and picked out the ones that they said they would take! Mind-blown, like how can you just say you will accept this coupon but not the other ones? I'm sure that Subway franchise doesn't feel the same way but I guess each store can do whatever they want! Unfortunately a very poor quality location. Had a worker become very upset with me today for using my reusable waterbottle to grab some extra ice for the the drink I had already purchased. Normally I wouldn’t do this but today was very hot with 100 degree temperatures and I was on my moped so I knew the ice would melt fast. She confronted me very upset and when I tried to explain she tried to get me to buy another drink if I wanted ice.
