DO NOT go to the Taco Bueno store #8046 at Markham Square. Take the extra time and go a little further for a different location. The employees there don't care AT ALL about their patrons. They will ALWAYS get something wrong and won't honor replacement of it, as they rightfully should. The manager on duty told me that, although I had been instructed by a previous manager to bring in my receipt to have my mistakenly omitted items replaced, that she wouldn't honor this. I felt like she was being very racist towards me and I'm not one to feel this way often. She was VERY RUDE and obviously didn't care at all. I frequent this establishment often and spend quite a bit of money here as it is very close to home. I, however, will not be back to this location. I refuse to give my money to a business that SO OBVIOISLY could care less about the success or the reputation of the place. I was even prepared to order additional items when I went to get my replacement items, but REFUSE to give money to someone that doesn't honor what they say they will. It was 2 TACO CUPS!!! Having been a restaurant manager for several years, myself, I KNOW that this is no way to conduct business and lose further profits over such a small issue. I truly feel, that had I been another color or ge bbn der, o surely wouldnt hi Ave been treated this way ... What REALLY makes me angry is that I have TRIED to minimize to others before that have expressed spoken of unpleasant employees and terrible service at this store, just how BAD it is. It's DEFINITELY GONE DOWNHILL and I will not be back. I'll also be sure to let my friends and anyone that I can, know...
Read moreThe guy behind the counter never acknowledged me walking in…I looked over the menus on the wall to determine what I wanted but while doing that there was another person in the sitting area on the phone with a doctor’s office openly discussing a colonoscopy procedure. As I was about to get the attention of the guy behind the counter he again never acknowledged me, comes from behind the counter pulls up a chair to listen to the conversation that was taking place between the person in the eating area and some doctor’s office about a colonoscopy procedure. Mind you, he comes out from the kitchen area with gloves on that are now contaminated with everything he is touching in the eating area, at this point I just left knowing I would never return. Here are some possible signage suggestions for management to place at the front door when they don’t want to be bothered with customers. “We are temporarily closed.” “A little cross-contamination never hurts anyone.” “This is not a working eating establishment, just a place for our family and friends to hang out.” “When you walk in and we don’t acknowledge you, that’s your clue to leave.” They received one star because the review section would not open otherwise. They...
Read moreStay faaaaaaar away from this location. Stick with Maumelle, baseline or Conway! Ordered a chicken Quesadilla and it had a bone in it! I tried calling the store and the “manager” was trying to explain that the bone came from the chicken and what a quesadilla is and did not have any concern what so ever! I had to call another store and they were more than willing to help get me in contact with higher management for that location since it’s a different franchise from the others.
Edit: - To the response of the "owner" I haven't even talked to anyone in upper management yet actually. NO ONE has yet to call me back. I received an apology from another location that was trying to get me a number for upper management for this location. I have even Facebook messaged and sent a message on the actual website. The store itself was a joke since that "manager" was more concerned about explaining what a quesadilla is and that the bone came from a chicken than about what had happened. I'll change my story and say STAY AWAY FROM ALL LOCATIONS because they could care less and when someone actually swallows it or chokes on it they will not be...
