Professor Bowl — Local services in Little Rock

It’s a decent place if you’re not expecting a high quality bowling alley. Usually we don’t have any problems other than passive and rude employees, but today my sister and I wanted to bowl a couple games after school and we had a sucky experience. First of all, one of the employees was smoking/vaping in the building!! Secondly, they were understaffed for the event (a JV Bowling tournament I believe) they were hosting. They had 3 or 4 people working the desk, but only 1 mechanic in the back working when an alley would mess up. And the alleys messed A LOT today. Our alley screwed up so much, and we probably spent close to 20 minutes waiting for it to be fixed. I went up to the counter 3 times and asked if they could fix it for us. The first man (the one who was smoking) said he would fix it and restart my frame. 7-8 minutes later it was fixed. (I watched him the whole time I was waiting, all he was doing was watching the JV kids bowl.) I go take my turn and it messes up again. So I went back to the counter and ask a lady if wave could fix our lane… again. She rudely looks at me and says “we are understaffed and as you can clearly see there are a lot of people here. We only have one mechanic. Be patient young lady.” I understand being understaffed for an event, but it’s not like you were taken by surprise that the event was happening and you still have other customers who would like to be taken care of. Sorry, long rant here. My point is, if there’s another bowling alley you could go to, go there. Professor Bowl’s quality has gone down a lot and their employees are...

It was crowded which I expected for a Sunday evening.. Once we got to the counter to purchase lanes the 2 people at counter was rude. The young girl ask how many ?, so we counted and told her the number of who would bowl. She said several times are you sure because if not you will be put out. My daughter said well there 2 more but as you see one is infant and the other is in wheelchair so they can’t bowl. Then when we gave all the shoe sizes she got attitude because we said the 8 is in youth kids not adult. Then I had to go back to counter to tell all the tables were taken. Because there was a large group that had both tables. So I ask if we had to stand because if that’s the case I would leave. The guy said well I guess I go over and tell them to move. He comes back and said there you go. Didn’t offer to clean the table. The guy that was cleaning saw what was goi on he said ma’am I’m so sorry this place is not how it use to be so he clean the table and said if I need anything else just let him know. I thanked him but I will never come back . And he came back occasionally to ask if I was ok . And if I need anything . I’m sure he could see my face as how I was really discussed. When I say this place is wonderful it is just that. The staff is very helpful especially the lady who works the game room she is so sweet. The young guy who was working the snack bar was up there by himself but he made sure to take everybody order with nothing but respect and I know that was hard because some people was being rude but he stayed positive and that’s what I like to see. And the food I don’t know who be cooking but every Saturday night this has been me and my family go to place I don’t bowl I love to eat and the owner has some great cooks even though they was busy I didn’t hear or c one complaint especially my food. From the wings to the burger we ordered I saw somebody with a quesadilla and had to go get me one and it was the bomb. If u ever want to get something good to eat and just want to have a good time this is the place. They also have this little spot downstairs it is great for the kids and grown people but me and the kids went down there Saturday and it was awesome and me and my husband was able to play pool and watch the kids play.
