We reserved a bay at 4:30pm for my family that came in from out of town. At the beginning of the reserved time, we were told we had a choice to extend our reservation by at least 1 hour as long as there were no other reservations after us. When it came time (15 min before our time was up) we were told there was a reservation at 6:45 right after us so we did not get to extend and had to join a waitlist to continue playing. The app did not allow us to join a waitlist, so we were left to enjoy our food and remaining drinks at the bar inside while we waited for our next reservation time at 9:45pm (the earliest time the app allowed, which we were told to use by the employees at the check in desk.) Out of curiosity we checked our bay, and no one had been there or at the bay next to us since we left 1.5 hours earlier. There were actually at least 9 bays open on the top deck when we checked. We ended up leaving, but I asked a receptionist at the front how to avoid this situation the next time, and if you want more than 2 hours you should reserve 2 separate times in order to keep playing because there is no guarantee you can get an extension to your bay if you book a reservation, only if you are a walk in do you have that option. Even if you make 2 reservation times, you still will likely have to switch bays. Our waitress Liv was AMAZING and I can’t compliment her enough!! The receptionist Elizabeth was incredible as well, answering our questions with extreme detail when she could tell we were frustrated about seemingly being lied to earlier in the day. I would give each of these employees 5 stars for their help; the 2 star review is for the reservation system that could use some serious help and for the other employees that were 100% disinterested in giving us an honest update about what was happening...
Read moreI went to Topgolf for the first time 5/13 a little after 4 because my daughter has been wanted to go for her birthday. I was greeted and told to sit upstairs. We go upstairs and have a seat (at a table because I feel weird about a child under 10 sitting at a bar) which no one is inside but us. After a few minutes of us talking and looking over the menu I noticed no one came over so I got up and went over to bartender behind the bar. He addressed me, told my daughter Happy Birthday, i told him what we would like to start off with and he said would be over in a few minutes. He never came. We sat there for over 30 minutes while everyone including a manager in a red shirt didn't even try to ask if we needed anything. The bartender was busy, in the beginning, which is why I was patient. Then things slowed down in which i saw him wiped down the counter, fix to more drink, laugh and make jokes with 5 waiters who were on their phones near the door leading out to the bay, he took the mixing containers to the kitchen, wiped down a bottle while still laughing and talking, and rung someone out and gave them $12.58 in change.
I went downstairs and asked does it usually take over 30 minutes to get service here. The sweet young lady at the desk told me no and said something about shift change but it did not look like they were changing shifts unless I count the girl in the corner counting her money upstairs. The young lady at the front desk called over another manger who apologized and offered to put in the order for me. But, by the time my daughter did not want to eat there for her birthday anymore. If i could give this place a 0 i honestly would! I wouldn't be surprised if someone lied to cover themselves over this review. All i know is i have no reason to lie...
Read moreEDIT: After a poor experience from our last visit, the operations manager, Steven, reached out and was very kind and accommodating. We went again this Tuesday and had multiple managers check on our visit/service and had great service. I really appreciated the staff’s ability to improve service wise and willingness to make a difference in our overall experience. Definitely appreciate the change in service and accommodating staff.
PREVIOUS: When we got here, we were told it would be a few minutes before we were able to receive a bay, so we could take a seat. We went to the bar, had TWO drinks, and then got the text that our bay was ready. Took 7 minutes to get the bartender’s attention and close the tab. When we got to the bay, we were given only 53 minutes to play, which we were not informed of. Toward the end of our time (the last 15 minutes), we wanted to extend, but the bay wouldn’t let us and would not dispense balls. Had to walk up to the server, who was texting on her personal phone, to get her attention to fix our bay and allow us to extend. She said we could go downstairs and extend our time. Then, went downstairs and wasted more time just to be told we couldn’t extend our time under our phone numbers and it would be a 2 hour wait. Manager’s response when we returned with 2 minutes left in play time was, “have fun.” What a joke. Very disappointed. Have been coming here for the past 4-5 weeks every Tuesday and this was the most unpleasant experience we’ve ever had.
