Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Little Rock

If you have time, just go to the Popeyes on Markham St. I experienced horrible customer service, at this location. And the chicken is over fried. The only thing they got right was giving me napkins, without having to ask for them.

I always get the chilled lemonade, when I come to Popeyes. Today I when I ordered chilled lemonade, I was given the Minute Maid lemonade, which is disgusting. Luckily, I noticed that it didn’t look right, before I drove away. When I brought it to the window attendant’s attention, he pointed to the Minute Maid lemonade and said, “that’s the one we use.” I told him that’s not what I asked for and he repeated the gesture and statement, as if I were tripping. I told him that when I’ve ordered chilled lemonade at other locations, I get chilled lemonade. His response was, “that’s a different franchise.” So, I pointed to what looked like chilled lemonade to me and he said, “that’s frozen.” I asked him why would you charge me for something that yall don’t have and not communicate that?” Eventually he offered the frozen lemonade. 😩 All of that to say, I won’t be going back to that location. I truly dislike this kind of bad experience. I don't like to review them, but hopefully someone gets their attention and changes the reasons for it. I was in LR recently and was really looking forward to the whole Popeye's experience. Where I live, there are none and I was missing it. While I was in town, I went to the same Popeyes restaurant on Colonel Glenn THREE TIMES. The first time I ordered the chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. The chicken was disgusting and the potatoes salty. The second time I ordered the chicken sandwich and red beans and rice. The chicken was disgusting. The red beans and rice however were excellent. I then called the manager who told me that both times I was there, were under the direction of a different manager, but the same one both times. She offered to make me a new meal herself and this is why this review was given 2 stars! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take her up on this, but I did speak to a different manager the day I was flying out and I did get a third meal. Friendly staff and fast fresh food. I revisited today(05/08/2021) and the manager Carlos made me feel special. He cooked my family fresh fench fries so I had to pull around and wait for the fresh food. Carlos personal attended to ensuring that I received excellent customer service not only did he direct a team member to promptly deliver my food to me but he also instructed the team member to bring along strawberry fried pies. He explains to me that the pies were to make up to me for having to wait so long. To be honest I perceived they served my order in a timely fashion considering the restaurant was pretty busy. Thank you Carlos for being a good team leader and showing your customers that you're not only paying attention but that you truly care and for sure made me feel Special today. By the way I was a hero when I returned home with strawberry pies.
