OK, I must admit that I had never heard of Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. I wasn't sure what to expect.
Interior - Wow! I loved the Red! Red isn't my favorite color, but it works! The inside is bright, cheery, and just fun! Reds, blacks, whites, open, roomy, and just inviting. It was also clean, which is not that common these days.
Menu - hamburgers, hotdogs, steak burgers, and fries, all Yummy! I had the single, which is their regular "smashburger," if you don't mind me calling it that. It was very good! Thin, nicely cooked and seasoned too, with just enough sauce. The fries - WOW! I love their fries. I could order just an order of fries,and not feel guilty about it! Well, at least I wouldn't think about it, while I enjoyed them, but maybe after.
Dessert - frozen custard, wonderful! - need I say more?!
Price - good, average prices today, won't "break the bank.
Parking - this location has plenty of parking, so don't worry about that.
Service - very good, plenty of people working, so you don't have to wait. The employees were all very friendly.

No big deal. However, my most recent visit when presenting the app numbers to the cashier she told me that I would have to enter the info from MY RECEIPT manually in order to receive the points. That they had new software installed and were unable to do it at the register anymore. Well, when I tried this at home, there was no store # on the receipt to began with and now the order id # was in letters, not numbers. Both are required in the app when entering it manually. I actually had to call to get the store # which I wrote on the receipt. The app required an order # id, but I couldn't do so because my order # id was in letters and not numbers. Read moreWanted a chocolate malt with extra malt. I've been getting them for years at a bunch of different places but this was my first time getting one at Freddy's. It was immediately apparent that this was not the foundation of quality that they were building this restaurant on. Is it possible to give something a minus score ? It wasn't chocolate ice cream it was vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup, which is fine I get it you're trying to save time and money. And even though I had asked for extra malt I genuinely couldn't tell if there was any malt in it at all. I'm not sure how many pumps of syrup is required for a large chocolate malt ? But I don't think it's 85. You literally couldn't even taste the ice cream. There was so much syrup it was burning my throat when I swallowed.
