Very disappointed that this place is in this location and that it even exists AT ALL.|| ||I didn't read reviews before staying here due to it's location, which is a really nice area of Littleton, and the fact that it was about $30-40 cheaper than anything else I could find for the 4th of July. That was a mistake! Always read reviews!! ||||The place was horrible. There used to be a pool. It's now filled with dirt and there was a guy sitting in there doing something, not sure what, with a pick ax. I think that's what it was anyhow, I honestly tried not to look too closely!||||The room smelled like humid mold/mildew, mixed with cat urine. I hope it was cat urine anyhow but due to the nature of the place, I can't say for sure. All I know is that it said 'No pets' on the door, which, now that I think about it, is really disconcerting. ||||Upon returning to the hotel after being out late for 4th of July...there were some scantily clad women standing by the grass...again, I tried not to take much notice! Made a fast B-line from the car to the room. The doors are just keys. Anyone could technically make a copy. Jam a chair under the door knob.||||I checked my bed over well before getting in it, luckily didn't find anything TOO bad. The sheets did have some stains on them, and there was no mattress cover. They did however, actually smell clean. So I took my chance in the bed. ||||There was a bug on the wall that had to be slayed. It wasn't a spider, it wasn't a beetle...I don't know what it was. Baby roach popped in to my head but it wasn't alive long enough to investigate! (I should have left!!)||||I was awake all night, ready to defend myself and my people if need be. It was a fairly quiet night, thank everything possible to thank for that! ||||I didn't take a chance in the shower. It just didn't look welcoming. Oddly shaped and mismatched, and the drain cover wasn't over the drain, which just grossed me out, probably no reason for it to do so, but better safe than sorry! There was a bar of soap on the sink and in the shower. No shampoo. ||||After talking to some locals in the area, this place is known as a transient/halfway hotel. Where criminals go when they get out of jail. And where people who should probably be in jail also go to live. Druggies, prostitutes, etc. Honesty if I got dropped there after a jail stay, I'd probably try to find a way back to jail. ||||I was also told of a shootout that occurred there recently that was bad enough to close the main road out front. I can't talk about it because I don't know anything about it. But the words, shootout and hotel, should not EVER be closely related. I did notice on my quick decent that the police station isn't too far away. Cheers to that! ||||Do yourself a favor, go pitch a tent in downtown metropolitan Denver, it's probably safer. I don't know how the people of Littleton are ok with this place...

Read morePlease Read. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. I had seen reviews about how it had bedbugs and not paid any attention because as I said I had stayed there before with no problems. However the last time I stayed which was around mid-December I was in the room for no more than an hour or two when I felt a very noticable bite an began itching furiously. Sure enough I looked behind the bed and found 6 or 7 bedbugs very easily ranging in sizes so it's safe to assume they had been there awhile. I immediately went downstairs to check out and asked for a refund and the man at the desk said he couldn't until thier pest control guy came to verify that there were in fact bedbugs there. I scoffed at this since I was able to find plenty within 30 sec of actually looking an I had never "looked for bed bugs" before I thought a professional easily would. I called the next day an the desk clerk said that the pest control couldn't come that day an they would have to come the next an the same thing happened for about three days when finally the front desk tried to say they didn't find any?! So I made them give me this exterminators phone number an no surprise he hadn't even been out there. Which is disgusting an no doubt they continued renting that room to unsuspecting people. After about two weeks an having to resort to threats of a lawsuit they finally refunded me my money an claimed that they would handle the problem in that room. I'm sure they just ignored it though as most people aren't as persistent as me to get my money back an try to make sure they actually get rid of those to not contaminate the other guests. I know I should have just listened to all the other guests who said there were bedbugs but I mean it when I say, you may get a clean room but do you really want to chance getting one infested with bedbugs an having to risk taking something home with you? Surely not worth it. There are plenty of hotels that are just as affordable if not more affordable and are clean an free of bedbugs nearby. The Extended Stay off Sheridan and Wadsworth I believe always has vacancies and is...
