Get this ready for google review ||My name is Peter Daly. I stayed at WoodSpring Suites in Littleton, Colorado, while I was closing on a $500,000 project house. I was there from Tuesday, July 15th, 2025, until Tuesday, September 16th. I was greeted by the manager then, Dixieanna (a beautiful person).||On September 6th, my aunt passed away in Ireland, which required me to travel there urgently on Tuesday, September 8th. Two days before leaving, I paid for a week's stay at this establishment, with the intention of continuing my stay.||After traveling almost 15 hours with two delayed flights, my five-year-old, and my one-year-old, I arrived back at what I considered my home (WoodSpring Suites). A female was standing before me at 3:30-4:00 AM, stating there was an outstanding balance on my room and that it needed to be paid. I simply said, "No problem, I will pay with Google Pay," as I had done several times before with Dixieanna and Chavis. This person stated that was no problem, but she needed the card numbers to run the card. I said, "Okay," and gave the lady the card number, which she wrote down on a piece of paper. My card was run for $410 and got declined. As any normal person would ask, I said, "Why did it decline? Is there no money in it? Come back when you have money." I stated, "There is money on the card. Can you try it again?" She then proceeded to try it three times and said, "You need money on the card for this to go through."||I then said, "It's 4:00 AM. Please, can I just call my bank?" I called the bank, and the bank stated there was enough money on the card to last the whole year without any issue, but there was a security alert. Fair enough. She tried again; it got declined. I asked, "Why can't I pay with Google Pay?" She said, "We need the card details." Meanwhile, my children were sleeping on the floor of the lobby. I stated to her, "I need to pay with Google Pay." She said she couldn't do that and that she needed cash or a card payment. Understandably, I said I had my Irish card with me and that there was approximately $500 on it. She said, "If it doesn't go through, you need to either go to an ATM or leave the property." I said, "Please, can you just let my children into bed?" She replied, "You will not enter that room unless the balance is paid." I said, "I'm trying to pay you, but you won't let me pay with Google Pay." She ignored me and ran my Irish card for $1,190 several times, causing my Bank of America, TD Bank, Chase Bank, and Bank of Ireland cards all to alert a fraudulent charge and block all my cards. Meanwhile, she looked at me and said, "You need to leave the property before I call the police. You cannot access the room because you don't have any money to pay for the room." Little did this person know, I have four rooms for my workers in this hotel that I pay for on a regular basis. She then jumped on the counter and closed the shutter.||I called a work colleague to come down and give me cash for the room. I called the person again and explained to her at 6:00 AM that my children were on the floor in the lobby and asked, "Please, can I pay you cash?" She made a noise on the phone and came down after 15 minutes. My colleague came down at 6:00 AM and handed me $410. As I gave it to her, she started to be aggressive, ignorant, and abrupt, and began explaining why she fraudulently tried to steal $1,190 from my account. I said, "The reason my cards were getting declined was because you were desperately trying to steal my money." She said, "If you keep talking to me like this, I will call the police and have you removed." I had to keep quiet because my children's health and well-being were more important than a person who didn't know how to take Google Pay and was trying to steal.||In Colorado, the law states that any hotel guest who stays at a hotel for more than 30 days has tenancy rights under Colorado 38-12-102(2). This person put me, my wife, and my two children's safety and well-being at risk due to the amount of crime at the hotel in the early hours. She was vulgar, rude, and downright disrespectful.||I am filing a lawsuit for duty of care for a landlord, neglect from a landlord, and attempted theft from a professional. I was staying there for three months, from July 15th to September 16th.||The manager Kendrick advised ondrea at this early hours of the morning. ||Breach of the Implied Covenant of Quiet Enjoyment||Negligence and Negligent Infliction of Emotional Distress||Attempted Unlawful Eviction||Conversion||Duty of Care||Theft from a...

Read moreOn 11/08/24 I was put in room 111 and the toilet wouldn’t flush. Jasmine said she would change me to a different room and the man said “No, I’ll fix the toilet”. I requested they move me before I picked up my dog and unloaded my car. The hotel was sold out and did not have a room to move and would call when a room was ready on 11/09/24. She gave me “the good plunger” to use. On 11/09/24 no one called me to change rooms. On 11/10/24 after getting tired of toilet water splashed on me I spoke with Rocky. He moved me into 106 but could not give me the key yet. I told him that I could not pick up the key until 6-7pm. I did not get back to the hotel until just after 7pm. I was distraught and in tears because of really bad news. I went to the front desk to get the keys to 106 and Jasmine asked me what was wrong. I was so upset I could barely speak and said I wanted to go home and was stuck there because the hotel does not give refunds. She asked it if was an emergency, offered to check me out so that I could go home, and she would allow a refund. I thanked her and said I would not be leaving until 6am because of a 14 Hour drive back to Texas. She said okay, checked me out that night, gave me a receipt that said how much I paid for the room, and another that said how much my refund was. She said that if I didn’t receive a refund in 7-10 days to call Rocky and then gave me his card. On 11/11/24 at 9:20pm the front desk called asking me what room I was staying in. I told them that I had checked out of the hotel last night and was gone. That person was shocked and said “You didn’t even stay last night?” I replied “Yes, I stayed the night but I left early just after 6am and put the keys on the counter.” That person said “That makes sense. Thank you because I did not want to check someone into your room and wanted to make sure what room you were actually in.” Someone was checked into my room so I know the hotel did not lose any money after I left. A week passed and I did not receive a refund I attempted to call the hotel on 11/18/24 at 9:12am and placed me on hold. I called back the next day on 11/19/24 at 9:15am. Someone answered told me to call back after 9am. I told them it was 9:15am and they said “REALLY?” and then asked me to call after 9:30am. I waited and called back at 9:52am and spoke with Rocky, the GM. I explained that I was told by Jasmine to call back after 7-10 days if I had not received a refund. He told me that they do not refund anyone and I signed at check-in agreeing to this. I told him Jasmine made an exception due to an emergent situation of which I explained in detail. I even told him to view the surveillance cameras. He told me that he would need to speak with Jasmine and he would call me right back. I never received a return call. I attempted to call the hotel again on 11/20/24 at 10:13am and the phone rang and no one answered. I left a voicemail for Rocky asking for the status of my refund and provided my information. On 11/21/24 I called customer service and spoke with Ren. He called the hotel to speak to the GM, who was not there. He spoke with Cody who told Ren it would take 7-10 days for the refund. It’s now 12/03/24 and I have still not heard back from the GM and do not have the refund I was promised. Verbal contracts are just as binding as written ones. Ignoring a situation instead of handling it hoping I will go away is appalling. Imaging going on vacation and having to be your own plumber to unclog the toilet for three days! Imagine having to change clothes every time you use the toilet because you end up with your own waste splashed onto your clothes because of this! Imagine disrobing after the first day so black water splashes on your body instead of your clothes and having to jump in the shower EVERY TIME! Finally, imagine being on vacation and a tragedy occurs in your family and the hotel tells you that you will receive a refund, sells your room, then decides to ignore you!! DO NOT STAY HERE! Frankly, I should be receiving a full refund due to all of this but I just want what I...
