This place is decent but not really good Chinese food. There aren’t many Chinese restaurants in the area so you don’t have hardly any choices. I am more picky because both my Mom and Grandma are Filipino and they both could cook some of the same dishes on the menu. I started having my husband go here and pick me up their General Tso Chicken on the combination plate. That is supposed to come with pork friend rice but they always send the white rice instead along with an egg roll. The GTC is not at all spicy. I am not a fan of spicy foods but certain foods I do like. I do like their GTC but it is not one bit spicy. My husband got the fried wontons for me once as I was mentioning to him about missing my Mom’s as she passed away last year. Well, it was NOT filled with anything but a certain like meat paste. Their egg rolls are good. We had family from out of the area just this week and my Dad thought why not get some Chinese as my husband could pick it up. My husband asked them if their Szechuan was spicy or more sweet, they said sweet and that their Hunan sauce was the spicy sauce. Well, they were like this is not spicy at all and they used some other spice we already had that was my Mother’s. I was leery of trying it but they had only stayed the night and left the Spicy Triple Delight with Hunan Sauce. I tried it! It was good but NOT at all spicy. I decide to try their Curry Chicken with Onion that was also supposed to be spicy. It wasn’t spicy. I also ordered their hot and sour soup. My issue with it is that it was more slimy & sludgy, not enough liquid. So when you poured it out to heat it up the liquid was thick. It was the same when I ate it. Tasted okay but the texture was off putting. I tried their Vegetable Fried Rice. It tasted good but they didn’t bother chopping the vegetables up. Full pieces of broccoli and mushrooms. I thought they would have the vegetables chopped up like they do for with the pork. I also have tried several times before tried to call their phone numbers they have on their menus. They do NOT ever answer. I thought I could order so my husband doesn’t have to wait since he works in town. Forget it I tried several different times and never got a pick up. So don’t expect spicy, the food is okay, the people seem nice. 7-18-2018 New cook? Fried dumplings were black. Crab Ragoon was spilling out. I have pictures. I never seen it like this and who ever plated it to go out as take out should know better than to serve that.

Our most favorite Chinese place, located in Live Oak, FL. As a returning customer they remember your special requests like chopsticks, hot peppers and bring food to your table in a matter of minutes, reasonable price and never fails to please us.

Our go to for Chinese fare in Live Oak. Food always cooked fresh, good portions and price. Simple dining room eat in kid friendly. Consistently good for over ten years I’ve lived here unlike some other competitors

Chinatown has the best chicken teriyaki I have ever had and their shrimp lo mein is just excellent it is very good they know how to cook Chinese food there very well the egg rolls are good everything I've ever eaten from there has been very good. The chicken teriyaki comes with four shish kabob pieces of meat that has the most wonderful taste I think that it is just wonderful and you could eat a couple and save a couple actually I think there's five. They're always polite and the owners there and the service is excellent. They are one of the few restaurants that's prices have actually dropped what used to cost $60 now cost $40. Everyone else in that Plaza strip is just raising their prices well Chinatown is doing their best to help the community of Live Oak and lowered theirs and kept their quality of food Top Notch as well as the proportions. It is one of my treats to go to Chinatown in Live Oak to...
