Denny's — Restaurant in Live Oak

Terrible service. We waited an hour for our food and it wasn't busy. The whole time we waited we didn't get refills. The food came out ice cold. We asked for refills upon the delivery of the cold food and still didn't get refills. I told them that the food was cold and the manager said she'd replace all of it, which she did. However, the server then came out and slammed the bus bin down next to us and rudely grabbed all of our plates which us adults weren't touching anyway but the kids were hungry so they were still eating it cold. But she snatched the plates from them too. Oh and still didn't give us refills. I had to get up and go to the server station myself I shook the cups at her. She still didn't refill them and she started cussing about a tablet. But fortunately, the manager saw and came and gave us refills. It's a shame for her, I used to be a server so I tip good. She messed up. But after all of that rudeness and we waited a total of two hours to eat, they should've done more than just replace our food. They handed me a check for full price. I told the manager I expect a discount after that nonsense, she took $6 off ... Two adults and 4 children... A $6 discount. They are lucky I even paid I don't think...

Visited with the family for dinner on a Saturday evening. The restaurant manager was working herself up because they were actually busy....The attitude she had towards the customers waiting to be seated was a mix of being rude and annoyed by everyone walking in. She would not stop ranting that within 10 minutes they went from having no one to (exaggerating) that everyone came in at once. Some customers left, one group was handed menus and utensils at the hostess' podium and were pointed in the direction to their booth by the manager and where told to sit over there. Another group decided to get their order to go and were approached rudely by the manager, still on her rant stating, that getting the order to go would not get their order out any faster or ahead of anybody. She proceeded to take the order in a very demeaning way scrutinizing every request from the customer's order. As for us, she didn't mess us, our waitress was great! It was just awful to witness the manager working herself up along with her staff and treating customers less than... That's not what I've come to expect from a...

It was wonderful! I had never been to this Denny before and I really enjoyed it. I met the manager and she was super sweet. I'm allergic to eggs and they substitute for eggs for grits and at first my waitress Chantel she didn't know if they could or not but I was pretty sure that they would! then when I checked out there was a friendly man that apparently knew the waitress cuz he's been going there so much and I even chimed in on their conversation .I even got a wonderful surprise I think the man's name was Tom or Tommy he paid for my breakfast I thought he was talking about the new waitress that he had just met and so the waitress had was starting a run of my bill was trying to make a hand hand me some change and I was like wait a minute I haven't even given you any money yet and they explain to me how he had paid for my breakfast so thanks to that man for paying for my breakfast it was a wonderful surprise this morning.
