Robbie's Cafe — Restaurant in Live Oak

Absolute Favorite!!! Fish sandwich is Such a Large Piece of Fish.. you would not know there's a piece of bread under it if you didn't see the top piece. It's More Then Double the size of the Large sesame seed burger bun.. the fish is also Thick Perfectly Cooked White Meat juicy never over or under cooked (Per Myself Husband Son's 4 yrs old grandson.. also is seafood Love and Friends.. Everyone who knows the Place that We Know and Loves Fish) Also.. the Fries Are Homemade Fresh Potatoes cut and Cooked exactly like My Mother's Homemade fries she would let all of us kids growing up eat the first two bowls before dinner cause she would have to stop us Then make plenty for dinner with 6 kids/grandkids later! Makes me Miss My Mom and I Think of Her Every single time I Found a place That Makes Fries Like That.. My husband and I used to drive over to this Cafe often. It has always been a nice, clean, busy cafe. They offer a variety of dishes, and some really good desserts,, so everyone can find something they like. I have always loved the Big Fish sandwich, with the sweet potato fries. They no longer do the sweet potato fries, unfortunately. Bummer.

Robbie's Cafe, I think is, feeling the pinch of our economy and beginning to cut corners a bit. It wasn't nearly as busy as I have seen it, in the past. My fish sandwich was very greasy and had more breading on it than the ones I've had in the past. My House chips tasted like the oil they were fried in was a bit stale, although still eatable. It's one of my husband and my favorite places to eat! Their fish is the Best! The prices are pretty good especially for their fish sandwich and Fries! The fries remind me of my Mom's.. She always made homemade fries and we miss her and our Dad for over 16 Years now! Thank God for this place (Taste like Home❤️🙏) We Only have *Good things to say about this place.. so far! For the past 20 Years!! It's location is Live Oak one of our favorite places because they have Spirit of the Susanne Music Park and Recreation! I don't know if they have an Easter egg hunt for Easter, yet, but we're hoping they do!? Finally finding out this year hopefully.. One of my favorite places and my husband's too💯!!
