This diner is the BOMB! Holy moly, folks! If you're looking for a classic diner experience that'll knock your socks off, look no further! This place is the real deal. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warmest smiles and friendliest service you could ask for. The wait staff was on point, making sure our coffee cups were always full and our plates were cleared in a flash. Talk about attentive! Now, let's get to the good stuff – the food! Oh. My. Goodness. This is classic diner fare done right. We're talking juicy burgers, totchos (nachos with tots!), and amazing omelets that'll make you wanna slap yo' mama (but please don't actually slap anyone). The portions were HUGE, and the prices were so reasonable. We almost felt guilty (almost!). Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this place. It's like stepping back in time to a simpler era, where the food was good, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was just relaxing. If you're looking for a delicious and affordable meal that'll leave you with a full belly and a happy heart, this is the...

I wasn't too sure about this place, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. I saw an old, outdated menu on Google photos, and it turns out the burger I wanted was no longer on the menu. The burger I ended up ordering was huge, hot, well seasoned, and cooked correctly. It came with lettuce, pickles, onion, and tomato slices on the side. I chose Crispy Fries, and they were similar to Burger King, except they were natural cut and halfway to steak fries in size. They were served hot and as good as any fries I've eaten in 59 years. My wife had a skillet and it looked ugly to me but she ate it all and didn't have a bad word to say about it. Our food was served fresh, hot, and prompt.

We came in on a Monday night at 7:30 pm, and we had the delightful waitress all to ourselves. (Note that she turned away customers after 8 pm.) The food was Montana expensive but not more expensive than any other meal I've had on this vacation. The bar and casino are well separated from the diner. I consider this restaurant to be a good Triple D find,...

Edit: i really appreciate the follow up from the owner! Upping the review a star just for that, Thank you.

We had a mixed experience at breakfast. Some of our part really liked it (the kids specifically) the others thought it was fine. The service, however, was awful. The server skipped right to our food orders without asking what drinks we wanted, she didn't give us refills until asked and over half need it, forgot one person's food order until asked, and brought out a wrong order (pancakes that should've had chocolate chips). The tots on another order were over fried and beyond edible.

When told about the tots, she said, "oh OK" but did nothing to fix it. When the pancake order asked for some chocolate chips, she didn't notice the wrong order (we should've said it clearly).

The staff was nice and the food ok. These things by themselves were not a big deal, but all together made for a...

I come to this restaurant often for breakfast, I usually sit at the counter being a single. The restaurant has a great breakfest. Today, the counter was being used on one side as a workstation. That's OK. It's not a 5 star and part of its charm . But when the left half of the counter was taken over by a young server doing her hair and make-up while also eating her breakfast, well, I hope the health department does/doesn't walk in. This is not her bathroom. Oh, she never came back to check if I needed anything, but she was eager to leave a check. I think in the past I left 4 stars for this restaurant. The food was great! SEE BELOW. P.S. IMHO, for her, less is better. Breakfast! Great staff. Traditional America food. Truck stop style.

Pretty solid little restaurant and bar! Best hours in town. This place is a pretty well rounded spot. It’s got everything you’d need like virtual gambling games, a bar with beer and hard liquor, and a solid food menu. It’s located right on Main Street with decent parking in the area, but most importantly it’s got fantastic hours. Most places won’t be open when the 49er Diner is!

First time playing bingo here. The patrons are very friendly and the staff was attentive throughout the night. Bingo caller was awesome. We sat near the bar and were afraid we would not be able to hear the calls but with several TV setup for the bingo calling and the call of using a microphone it was an overall awesome experience. We will be coming back again next week.
