AWFUL! Ordered food for myself and a few people at my work. Got the Kung Pao SHRIMP but the young lady at the counter had Kung Pao Chicken for me when I went to pick it up. She said I didn't specify, though I don't eat chicken so I'm pretty sure I did... Either way, I let it slide and told her I would wait for the shrimp. I remember being surprised at how fast they prepared the food when I reordered it, and for good reason! When I got back to work, my "kung pao shrimp" was really just a bowl of undercooked celery and carrot chunks with a few pieces of shrimp. I've had kung pao shrimp at other places and it was always delicious and a lot more intricate than just shrimp with celery in sauce.... I tried to eat the food to not cause a problem. I ate the shrimp but could not stomach the spoonfuls of raw celery!! YUCK! I called back asking for a refund or if I could at least trade the meal for a different cheaper shrimp dish (something other restaurants have always allowed). She put up a fight and then finally told me to bring back what I had and she would exchange it for the sweet and sour shrimp. So I DROVE BACK and the rude girl opened my food, poked around and said "Where's the shrimp?" I told her that I had eaten the shrimp pieces, like I had told her on the phone. She said "NO SHRIMP, NO MONEY! YOU GIVE ME SHRIMP, I GIVE YOU SWEET SOUR SHRIMP!" I had handed over my entire order, including the white rice, thinking I would get a refund. Instead the girl picks up pieces of celery from my bowl and breaks them in my face to tell me that they were cooked (they were NOT). Since she wouldn't give me my money back or an exchange, I ask for my celery bowl and rice back to do with it what I will (since I had to buy that crappy dinner, I'd at least like to eat the rice...I was starving!) but she told me NO, I COULDN'T HAVE ANY OF IT BACK! Not my money or my meal!! Then she picks up the phone (I thought to call her manager) but when I asked who she was talking to she said THE POLICE!!! I had had enough and just drove away, hungry and poor! RUINED MY ENTIRE ASSOCIATION WITH CHINESE RESTAURANTS! Now I ONLY eat from my regular place (which is wonderful!!! I recommend Chopsticks and Great Wall in Canton or Dynasty in Dearborn! These places are beyond generous and the food never disappoints!). Lesson learned! Never ever ever ever go here. TERRIBLE, BITTER FOOD, EVEN MORE TERRIBLE,...
Read moreFirst time patronizing right , where should I start? Overall poor customer service. I ordered Sesame Seed Chicken and the boy who took my order had to be no more than 12 years old. I had to wait a minute because their debit machine kept breaking down. So I guess he calls mom to come up, she comes up and started screaming at him in Chinese like it was his fault. He just put his hands up and walks away. That made me laugh, why did I laugh?. After 5-8mins of her swiping my card it finally went through, after all that time passed THEN she began to cook my food. I'm like wait what??? Another 5-8mins and my order is finally up.I said Thank God!! But I noticed that they add their sauce on the side, i'm like "Well that's a little lazy, i'm use to it being cook with it, but whatever. I'm ready to leave" I asked the kid, "That's Sesame Seed Chicken right?" He looks at his mom like she took my order, then she screams at him "Yes!!". He looked at her, then looked at me as if he was thinking, "She has issues bro" I looked back like, "Good luck with that little Chinese bro" I should've checked my order, but I was too irritated by the time wasted with them. So I left, i get home and Lo and Behold my order is wrong. She gives me Sweet and Sour chicken not Sesame Seed Chicken. So I called to complain like any other person would do, not even to get anything free, I just wanted them to know my first experience with them. Someone picks up, they have absolutely no comprehension of the English language at all while she steady trying to take my order, At this point i'm boiling, . Someone else gets on the phone, guess who it is? Yes! Mom, I explained to her what I explained to the other person. She tells me i'm wrong. Like Really Lady??? You skip everything I mentioned about my experience, and went straight to the order part to tell me that I ordered Sweet and Sour not Sesame Seed. I told her "I will never be back!" as if she would try to keep my business. She said, "Okay" and hung up. . . . . I almost caught a case. . . ....
Read moreFinally broke down and tried it and I wish I had not. Let me start by saying the im writing this review based on the Sweet and Sour Chicken Combo. I have never eaten anything else here. I ordered carry out and it was fast. It was ready in less than 5 minutes. Too fast??? Probably means it isn't made to order.
When picking up my food I noticed there was no plum sauce and no fortune cookie in my bag. I asked if the dinner combo came with plum sauce and she said yes and got me one. I asked if it came with fortune cookie and she said yes and got me one. If I would not have asked I wouldn't of had either when I returned to work and started to eat. This is either lack of care or being cheap and in this case I think it was cheapness.
The food itself was poor quality to me. Luckily I ordered an extra sweet and sour sauce because what it come with it not nearly enough for most. The sauce itself was just orange and not very tasteful. No pineapple, green pepper, red pepper, onion, or anything else. Just plain sauce that had a chemical taste to it.
Rice was very plain and supposedly had pork in it but I didn't see any. Sad excuse for Chinese rice.
Egg roll was very small, made with cabbage and not sprouts!!! Big bummer!! They are egg rolls they need sprouts not cabbage. Cabbage is cheaper so i'm sure that's why they sell those. Big disappointment because you can always justify a meal if they have a good egg roll :)
Overall: Would I go back: NO Why: poor food and lack of attention pros: large...
