Newburgh Station Pizzeria — Restaurant in Livonia

I was in Livonia for work and decided to try Newburgh Station, I ordered online and it was a very easy process,as I choose to curb side pick up. When I pulled up I waited a few seconds and went it to get it myself no big deal it wasn't busy so I got it myself again no big deal, when I entered establishment the women again were very nice and they handed me my pickle pizza and I left, at this point great experience. When I got back to work the side of garlic cream cheese I ordered was not in the box, I called and just asked them to refund for the sauce, at no point was I ever rude or disrespectful to them. The employee told me she couldn't do the refund but the owner would be in shortly and he would call me. Before I start anymore I want to say the pickle pizza was delicious. Great food Then the owner calls and continues to tell me well u only waited in your car 20 seconds I have you in camera, ok and? I didn't complain about that it was no big deal and again what does this have to do with an item being forgotten I ordered?! The owner proceeds to tell me he can't refund my card but he can offer me cash back or a free pizza on my next visit I explain to him I'm not from here he then goes onto telling me this is a small business and in this economic time blah blah blah. I was never ever men disrespectful or rude to this man but he had an attitude from the beginning of the call. Again all I was asking was a refund for the cream cheese I ordered and didn't receive. I worked in and managed restaurants for years and I have never spoke to anyone and beat around a subject like this gentleman. I ended up saying some words and hanging up on him. I will not be back ever and I the owner can blame himself. Again it was all for $1.99 cream cheese why did I need to be scolded for coming in to get my own pizza? Also he told me that his employees were busy, lol they absolutely were not busy as when I walked in the one lady was sitting on a still behind the cash register just talking to the other lady. I just tried this place for the first time for lunch and was so blown away by the Paneer Tikka Masala pizza that I came back for dinner and had to order a whole smorgasbord. The pickle pizza came highly recommended to me (and rightfully so), so I had to get that in addition to their other Indian fusion pizzas. All told their paneer and their chicken is out of this world flavorful, and each of the 3 types of Indian fusion pizzas offered are distinctive, authentic, and perfectly balanced. The dough is also worth mentioning, as it is perfectly crunchy with just the right chew, and the garlic butter was amazing on that crust.

When I showed up to pick up my dinner order, I was recognized from my earlier lunch pickup. I'm not sure if he was the manager or the owner, but he was definitely the chef responsible for the incredible culinary experience I just had. He asked me what I had thought of the pizza I had gotten earlier, and I told him honestly that it was incredible. He talked to me a bit about what when into bringing these pizzas to the menu, and his passion shows. Not just in how he greets and treats his customers, but also in the products they send out. At his recommendation, I tried their ranch (which is just really good, high-quality ranch) on the Indian fusion pizzas and was not disappointed.

All told, this has been one of the best carryout experiences I've had in my life. The people, the food, the prices, truly this has left nothing to be desired. I hope they thrive for decades to come, as this has already become one of my favorite pizza spots ever. I can't wait to work my way through their menu. 10/10, I can not recommend this place...
