If your taste buds are just too refined for ordinary store bought cookies or cakes....this bakery will surely be to your liking. I had stopped in with my almost 6 years old son who immediately wanted to touch everything....that by the way was totally at arms reach all around usšŸ˜• in front of us doughnuts galore, stacked fridges to the right with trays of chocolate frosted cupcakes then on the left a table full of cookies the length of the store 😮 my son took a gingerbread man cookie from the table fidgeted with it while I started ordering...never been, I asked questions ā€œwhat flavors and prices the cakes were...which is what we came for...to take to a party that night...the girl behind the counter came out to the fridge and started naming all the cakes and their fillings. Patient and helpful...as I even made a phone call to my husband for some help in deciding on a cake. Hubby and I chose a yellow log cake with white icing decorated with Christmas poinsettias on top...a German Chocolate cake and a box of their mix holiday sugar cookie boxes. By the way the box of cookies were amazing all by them selves....the dark peppermint was my favorite..All the desserts were a huge hit with everyone and that’s a wonderful thing at a party! We’re definitely going back the next time we have a sweet tooth for something special! I can not even get into how many different things they had! Have I mentioned how amaizing it smelled inside! Can’t wait to return!

Disappointing experience. Used to frequent this place for 15+ years. Paused going in the past couple years due to low, inconsistent inventory. Slow service but friendly enough. Asked if they had frozen veggie pasties which they did. Got home to put in freezer and noticed they weren’t frozen and one had mold on the bottom. I threw them away because I was turned off. Called the store for a refund. Provided photos by text. They were apologetic and wanted me to come in and pick up 1 fresh one (claimed they’re never frozen yet that’s the only way I’ve ever ordered them). I wasn’t interested because I’d lost my appetite for those. I did cut it in half to see ingredients as the outside looked different and this was certainly not the ā€œoldā€ Heritage pasty. This had peas, green beans and red peppers in it. Apparently new ownership here. In the end they would only offer store credit and really didn’t want to refund for all 3 because two didn’t have mold. Given the higher prices and recipe changes, I’m taking my business elsewhere.

Absolutely terrible skills and customer service. Attached is my inspiration photo for what I asked for and then what they gave me The cookies looked TERRIBLE. Awful. They were supposed to be Canada Geese but instead they look like poop brown cookies. The day before the party, they called me to ask about my order because they didn't know what I wanted. I let them know all the photos were in the email we sent them and they already talked to me about it. They said they found it. They will not refund me for the terrible cookies that were an embarrassment. I showed people what I expected and they were appaled. They told me the decorator has 25 years experience with decorating. Also, the cookies say "One David". Even basic English is too much for them It's terrible. And they stand their ground on no refund and that they "tried their best". Never go here!

I wanted to love this bakery. I had been seeing occasional posts about them on FB and they looked amazing so I decided to drive the 30 minutes to give them a try. It's a small bakery and pretty unorganized. They had lovely looking treats in the displays but nothing was labeled, not a name, description or price. I told the lady that waited on me that it was my first time visiting and asked her what a couple of the items were. Well, there was a language barrier and she couldn't answer or understand some of my questions. I'm talking a basic what kind of cookie is that question 😳 Which is why they should have labels on their items šŸ™„ It was a thick cookie that looked like it had filling in it. She didn't know what it was so she asked another worker who also didn't know what it was but the 3rd person they asked told me what it was and that it costs extra because of the filling. It was $3.50 again, a simple label could've saved everyone time and aggravation. The girl seemed to be irritated with me when I asked her about other items as well. After finally getting my order together with this lady she takes my bags and drops them off on the counter by the cash register. I'm thinking she's gonna ring me up but she starts assisting another person. I just stood there with 2 other people that also had bags lined up on the counter. I said what's happening it's my first time here to the man next to me and he says one person gets your stuff then you come over and wait here to get cashed out. So I had to wait in line to get my items then got moved to another line to wait to pay. It was so unorganized. The young man running the register was "busy" on the phone. He kept saying Hello? Hello? Hello? He was attempting to talk to someone while we just stood there.. instead of handing the phone to another employee we just waited..again. I got my treats home to my family and we tried them. They were just ok. The cookies were dry with not much flavor, the apple strudel type danish thing & the white powdered sugar puff things (again I'm not sure what they were because of NO labels & the employee language barrier) tasted stale. The Apple fritter I got was huge and delicious but I certainly wouldn't drive 30 mins just for that. I must say, that while I was there quite a few people came in picking up preordered cakes & cupcakes that looked beautiful & delicious. I hope the owner sees this and considers labeling & pricing their products and making sure the employees actually know what the products are that they're selling. I may visit again to see...

I have been a customer for well over a decade. It has always been an easy experience with wonderful outcomes...until this last one. It was horrible! Trying to order a simple cake for my daughter's 18th birthday was like pulling teeth. I went in person to the store 5 days before I needed the cake and placed the order. I told them what I wanted and explained that I wasn't super picky just wanted certain colors and lots of chocolate! When I mentioned ganache they looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. The lady told me to send a picture to an email of what I wanted, which I did. I also explained the details in the email. I got an email back the next day telling me they couldn't do the cake I wanted because it was a fondant cake and to either send a new photo or call? So I called and told them about the email. The girl I spoke with was rude and completely clueless for someone who works at a bakery. I explained that I didn't need nor want fondant, that I was just sending the picture as an example like I was told to do by the bakery. I also explained what I was looking for. She said the cake maker would call me first thing in the morning about the details because she obviously couldn't be bothered right then although I could hear them going back and forth. Morning came and went with no call. Finally at 2 pm...2 days before I needed this cake done she calls and leaves a message saying she was leaving but I could call at 2 AM to finalize? What??? At that point I was done and had already gone to So Delish which is right down the road. They were so sweet and super easy. I placed the order in less than 10 minutes over the phone with no photos and they did an outstanding job! Got so many compliments. Come to find out Heritage is under new management and it really shows cause they are the worst! I will never go back and definitely don't recommend them! Based on other recent reviews, it looks like I'm not alone. They lost a long...

I am all about supporting small businesses but after the poor customer service experience I received here today I will not be coming back. I saw this establishment on my newsfeed and all that they do for the community and felt it would be a great idea to stop by this morning. From the moment I walked in there were three employees behind the counter but one of three had to have been a manager or something because I observed her barking orders for the price multiple times to the employees. I ordered two paqczi and inquired about the name of another item. The woman was short but nevertheless I ordered amd waited to pay. There was a whole customer im front of me that I had to say Ill wait pays before me, I didnt want to bum rush to the register it's a narrow aisle. I get to my car, and the wrong order was in my box, I go in and graciously show the mistake. Instead of fixing it she states she thought she showed me the box, which she did not. I also intended to pay the difference but she says "Just take it". And continues speaking to her employees. If you have had a steller experience at this establishment, great, I didnt not. This is my first time coming out here and I will not come back. I will never know what the product taste like because on my way home I stopped to get my car service and gave them to the vehicle mechanics so they don't go to waste because I had no desire to eat them after attempting to treat myself from an establishment I thought I would have a great...
