Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Livonia

Edit: the owner contacted us within two hours to explain the situation and apologized. I'm raising the rating from two stars. Still disappointed, but the owner seems to want to make it right with us. Maybe the online ordering system could be configured to reflect the challenges this location is having... realistic expectations would definitely help.

Original: I'm really disappointed by how SLOW delivery was. Not freaky-fast at all. I ordered online two hours ahead of the time I needed delivery. Delivery was 30 minutes late. To workers on a lunch break, no less. That's unacceptable.

When I called about where the order was, I was told they got backed up and that my order was large. However, 12 cut-up sandwiches doesn't seem like to much to me. Could be wrong, tho.

I get that we're in weird times right now, but why can other JJ's deliver to other worksites a few minutes before the scheduled time?

I don't blame the workers though. Not having enough resources is squarely...

So now I remember why I stopped going to this location. The place was clean and that is why I gave 2 stars. I took my dad from out of town and it was his first time trying JJ. He was disappointed and unimpressed. First, it took 15 min to get our 2 sandwichs as walk ins. He ordered the #10 and I ordered the #13. Both sandwiches had very little of everything. I guess they had an over abundance of cheese, because the 13 had 10 slices rolled up on the top of the sandwich with a little bit of avocado. The 10 looked like it had same amount of stuff the #2 has in it and the #13 looked like it had the same amount of stuff the #6 has in it. I could have saved us money and a disappointed dad. I live in the area and will just go the extra distance to Jersey Mike's or get a great sandwich from Larry's...

Ordered the GIANT ULTIMATE porker. Delicious bread & fresh ingredients. Unfortunately it's a rip off. Barely any meat on subs. Subs are all bread & lettuce. Could barely taste meat. Complained to company in email saying when they claim "worlds best gourmet sandwiches" & use "giant" & "ultimate porker" to describe their subs, then give customers a sandwich w/ a pitiful amount of meat it's a joke. A rep responded that giant refers to the 16" size which it definitely wasn't, & it comes with a "portion" of meat. Poor response. Next time I have $7.50 to waste I will dissect the sandwich, video it & post to social media & company to expose what a rip off Jimmy John's is.
