Restaurants have gone from good to will not return status. Prior to this, I have been going to this place since it opened. Being a vegetarian, I have ordered the same food from them since they opened. I asked for enchiladas without meat with Vegetables. They have served me the same thing for years, except yesterday they said they can't adjust things from what it is written on the menu. Unless it's pre-cooked things I have never been told by a restaurant that they can't adjust ingredients from the menu ever. We even offered that we can pay extra if they are worried about food costs. More so Manager told us that we can order vegetable fajita which is the same as enchiladas. I am sure he needs to really understand the difference between two food choices. or change their menu from 100 items to 5 items since fajita and enchiladas are the same. They have 100 items on their menu and yet have 7 items listed as a vegetarian choice. I was told none of Los tres amigos makes changes to the menu. which is a lie, since I just visited another location last week and they gave me enchiladas without meat with vegetables.
Not only did manager Marco refuse to come out to talk to us again regarding being refused meal choice, but Waitress also lied to us and told us he is the owner, while I know that the Restaurant is corporately owned and the Owner would never have talked to us like Marco did to us. He seemed unaffected about our eating there yesterday or ever in the future. I have been promoting this restaurant to all my vegetarian friends in Livonia for the last 5 years. Also as we told them there was nothing on their menu that came close to what we have been ordering and they would like to get a check so we can pay for a drink. didn't even have the courtesy to say sorry we can't accommodate your need.
Thank you management for singling out one of the most growing foodie groups where most people are looking for alternatives to meat from never visiting your restaurant.
Review from 2 years ago: Ambient and decor were always great. Food just got there to match them. Food is great taste, if u like spicy salsa they have great ones. Drinks are generously poured. Need to expand their vegetarian menu. Still accommodated with substitutes. When they opened food was ok, now they are living up...
Read moreI don't know what all the hype was about but this place is extremely expensive and gives extremely small portions especially anything that's meat or seafood related you will get a lot of vegetables with some of the dishes but that's about it. The wait staff was very nice and friendly, the decor is very nice inside. But you won't find me helping to pay their bills anymore.
Against my better judgement a friend convinced me to come and try your restaurant once again. July 3rd 2018. Nothing has changed, the portions are still extremely small. I know they responded before that they're going to talk to the manager and look into the portion sizes. It sounds good but they're not changing their portion sizes people are still complaining months later about the portion sizes. What little bit of food they do give you does taste good though. But It's ground up hamburger and some flour, they're making a killing off of you guys. If you like giving your money away for very little in return great place to visit. You may have to go somewhere else for dinner afterwards, like Taco Bell next door. You get more meat in a Taco Bell burrito then you do in there $12 burrito. Greedy restaurants don't tend to last long.
Well now it's 8-18-2021 and reluctantly mom convinced me to bring her here because Old Mexico was closed. Nothing's changed, food taste good but portions other than rice are extremely tiny. Mom got an enchilada that was smaller in size than a McDonald's apple pie but maybe 1/4" high with a tiny slice of chicken in it. 3rd time here with no changes for the better. You should have a feeling of have eaten rather than still being hungry when you leave here. Never again will I allow anyone to convince me to come back here nor will I allow this owner to handle any of my hard earned money. Surprised there's so many people that enjoy being taken advantage of. Personally sick of restaurants in general taking advantage of people only so they can be rewarded with...
Read moreI normally never have a problem with this place at all, they have been one of my favorites up until 2 nights ago. I went in to have a Margarita and I arrived at about 930, they close at 10... Apparently last call for drinks were at 920, but how am I supposed to know that if no one tells me. The man was very rude to me, his attitude was nasty, and I absolutely ignoredhis attitude because I didn't want to let someone take me out of my character and cuss him out the way I wanted to. If I am past last call, I understand. The only thing he should have done was let me know what time last call was moving forward, not be mean, not have an attitude, or be rude. I am a lady and I do not take kindly to men raising their voice or anyone for that matter, Talking to me in any other way than with respect.... I then tried them the next day which was last night, I walked in with a smile on my face and I spoke to him as well as 2 other waitresses, because they were for d* sure not going to speak to me first, they didn't even have a smile on their face.. I was so disappointed with their lack of professionalism, respect, and kindness... Brenda however is very amazing, always kind, always professional as an adult should be... I will give them another try solely because of Brenda but the bartenders and the man I think hes the manager are rude and do not speak.... I had a long day and the only thing I wanted was one drink and I'm sure they had a long day as well period but them having a long day does not warrant any type of rudeness Or disrespect, especially from a man. The vibe was so horrible in there I didn't even finish my drink or order food last night..... The other young man that made my drink last night he was very nice and very respectful but the other guy that I think is a manager or a supervisor his attitude is...
