So I asked for beans to be added and paid .98 per item, Taco Bell decided to keep the meat I very much wanted since I selected the meat FIRST and then paid extra to add beans. So start there, also no green sauce packet that I paid extra for, on top of with in seconds of making my order my delivery man took it and put it in my hand within 20 mins of ordering it online he was a 5 mins drive in traffic. All the food was cold, not that I have a problem when it takes longer but I can pick up Taco Bell in Perrysburg, OH and drive 20 miles home: take it in: go use the bathroom: turn on the tv: set up dinner. I bet you will never guess… It is still HOT 75% of the time and 100% always warm. I travel the north America continent this is the first bad review for Taco Bell on my part, and believe me Perrysburg gets the order wrong plenty, honestly it isn’t the best in the nation but ranks in the top 5. So how the flying nut chucks did you manage cold food out the window? And look how poorly made it is.
I don’t want my money back. I want every single employee there and the managers to all be forced to eat 3 minimum cold, slimy, poorly made double deckers, remember refried beans only, after you paid for the beef. And again only the amount of nacho cheese you can hold on the end of a 3 inch fry without it breaking or bending, fingers on one end, cheese on the other and use that exact amount to rub on a dried out flour tortilla and ( no clue how you did it with no meat or cheese; I am assuming it must be that lukecold slimy lettuce) soggy broken hard shell. Please wait 20 mins after making it if you feel the slightest bit of warmth more than counter top temperature wait another 20 mins and if made correctly you will still feel a bit of warmth wait another 20 mins (should be room temp now) also no ice in the drink so it comes warm.
Do this on you tube or TikTok it will get back to me and then I will eat this review, I will print it out and eat it and then change it to 3 stars for at least trying to...
Read moreI once loved this location with friendly staff, easy drive through, and correct orders. I’m not sure what has happened.
I ordered through the app while I was inside tonight as I had a reward I wanted to use. 20 minutes and at least 10 cars later my food had not been put up. I went up to the counter and was asked “hey, how are you?” when I replied that I had a mobile order the gentleman told me he was “getting to it”. About five minutes later, I had my food.
I have been to Taco Bell around the country, almost an embarrassing number of times. I have never waited 25 minutes for an order nor been treated so strangely. During the time it took to receive the order there were employees riffing loudly with one another (normal enough), but other employees playing what seemed to be tiktok videos or instagram reels out loud on their phones. There was also a houseless man and woman sitting in the lobby while I was waiting-no disrespect but that doesn’t make me feel particularly comfortable while I wait over twenty minutes for an order.
All of this could be excused if the food had been well made. As someone who eats Taco Bell regularly I have things I like to add and take off which was technically correct but adding beans to a quesadilla shouldn’t mean they’re all in the very middle and the cheese starts above them, in my opinion. I added pico to a taco and was instead given tomatoes and onions which is fine, but not what I paid for. If you’d like me to give you 0.79 for an addition I gladly will but I’d like it to be made with sense, as if you yourself may be eating it. I don’t think that’s a particularly high bar.
I will not be back to this Taco Bell which is sad because I don’t know of any better ones in this area. Shame on Yum Foods for letting the quality of their training and standards get this way. It’s not the fault of the employees, clearly they’re allowed to do whatever they want and who can blame lower management for keeping the place staffed? Just sad to see the standards have...
Read moreI mean, it's taco bell. You kind of know what to expect. I've never been to a taco bell that wasn't, over time, a bit hit and miss.
That said, the ratio of hits to misses from this location is remarkably high! Sure, maybe sour cream might be missing on a nacho every once in a while, but more frequently it will be like "I think they tried to fit three soft tacos into this soft taco." I mean, if you're looking for a taco bell location for food alone, I will recommend this one.
That said, the thing I appreciate most about this location is the cool people who tend to work there. I mean, I've never worked at taco bell, but I've worked many years at similar type positions. These jobs can be soul-draining if you have a bad boss or an unfortunate level of aggravating customers. Or any other number of reasons. Low pay is a good one.
But there have been so many times where I've come through and the people I've gotten to talk to even briefly have brightened my day. I want to give a particular shout out to the two drive thru employees I just encountered who inspired me to leave this (hopefully adequately glowing) review.
I pull up to the drive thru window. I had to buy a backup vape to my backup vape because both my vape and backup vape need presently unavailable pods. I was starting to open my vape, probably with the frantic hands of a nicotine addict, and a dude slides the window open, sees me, and says something akin to...
And now that I'm writing this review I've forgotten what he said. There was a long "yo" and something about me struggling to unwrap "that boy." It was the kindest, funniest way to be informed at that moment I kind of looked like a freak.
His coworker apologized, and she was super kind too, but I drove away laughing thinking about how lucky I am to live this close to this particular taco bell.
So yeah! This place rules. The people who work...
