Excellent pie and great service! Highly recommend!

I’ve been looking for a local spot that makes true new haven style pie. Light, crispy, charred crust with a very good tomato sauce that is not too sweet. Primavera makes the best pie around! Exceeded my expectations!

I want to give a shoutout to the guy who was working when I picked up my order. I wish I had gotten his name. He was the only person working making all the orders from scratch, answering the phone, and ringing up a consistent flow of customers. He misread my order and made an extra bread. I offered several times to pay for it because I want to support small businesses like Primavera and you cannot find anywhere else like it in the area. He was very polite and insisted that I do not pay and keep it as it was on him.

Such an odd establishment. 😐

The flavour of the pizza is some of the tastiest pizza in the entire area. It's truly phenomenal. The Margherita has authentic Italian flavours. The tomato sauce is stupendous. The pizza has the correct amount of ingredients, including Basil.

BUT... the crust is like cement. My brother in christ, pleeeeeease listen to me when I say you must make your crust slightly softer. I'm getting older, and I need to keep all my teeth lol! I've seen you respond to people saying that's how they do it in Italy. The charred crunchy crust, yes! But not crust THAT hard. I've eaten pizza in Naples, Milan, Rome, Florence, Bologna. They'd all absolutely scoff at you and be offended by how solid that crust is.

Also the service and atmosphere are a bit grumpy. I had to witness a family fued one day, lol pretty unprofessional. Arguing with doordash...

Pizza Primavera is a small, no-frills spot run by a hardworking Italian gentleman who clearly loves what he does. The space is bare bones, with nothing that doesn’t need to be there, giving it a simple charm. When we walked in, he greeted us warmly and was genuinely excited to make our pizza. We ordered the pepperoni and Italian sausage, and the quality was immediately noticeable. The sausage wasn’t the typical mass-produced GFS—it tasted like real, authentic Italian sausage. The pizza is New Haven-style: thin, crispy, and loaded with flavor. If you appreciate premium toppings and a well-crafted, thin-crust pizza, go and support this place.
