Authentic Flavors, Warm Hospitality & A Memorable Celebration!
I recently had an amazing dining experience at Punjab Indian Cuisine, and it truly exceeded expectations! From the moment we stepped in, the inviting aroma of Indian spices and the beautifully designed ambiance set the perfect mood. The restaurant had a cozy yet elegant vibe, making it an ideal place for both casual dining and special occasions.
We started with the Hot & Sour Soup, which had the perfect balance of tangy, spicy, and umami flavors. Just the right way to kick off our meal. The Paneer Tikka Masala was packed with smoky flavors and a rich, creamy tomato-based gravy that paired beautifully with the fresh, fluffy Garlic Naan. We also tried the Shahi Paneer and Paneer Handi, both of which were incredibly delicious, offering a unique blend punjabi aromatic spices and creamy textures.
What made our visit even more special was the warm and welcoming Mr Raymond and entire team. They treated us like family, ensuring everything was perfect. We were celebrating a birthday, and they went out of their way to make it extra special, adding a personal touch that truly made our evening memorable!.
If you're in search of authentic Indian taste, this is the place! Iโm from Illinois, and whenever Iโm around Detroit, this is my must-visit planned stop. Highly...
ย ย ย Read moreI am extremely disappointed with the service at Punjabi Indian Cuisine. We had arranged ahead of time to leave my credit card with the staff to ensure our guests wouldnโt have to pay for their meals. Despite informing the team twice that we would handle the bill ahead of time and coming in 15 minutes earlier than our guests and handing them our card, they still allowed our guests to pay. To make matters worse, the worker who initially took my card was nowhere to be found, and the card was handed off to another employee who, as it turned out, had it in his pocket the entire time. While this employee did know the card was for our table, the lack of communication about the situation left us confused and frustrated.
When we asked for clarification, there was no apology or effort to explainโjust a blank stare and a smile that made it seem like he didnโt want to address the issue. We werenโt trying to cause trouble; we simply wanted to ensure no double charges were made.
This experience was disappointing, and while mistakes happen, a little communication and accountability would have gone a long way in making this situation...
ย ย ย Read moreLet's start with the positive stuff! Fantastic food! Butter chicken is as authentic as it gets and reminds me of dhaba food! The lemonade was superb, with a hint of jaljeera.. the rumali rotis are to due for! Tandoori chicken had me slurping all over the place! Back to reality and to levers that made my experience sink to the bottom of the marina trench! The waiter had a disrespectful attitude and didn't care about us! This is extremely frustrating when you have personally recommended this place to your friends and the waiter turned out to be a disaster. We wanted to order extra Naan and the waiter tells us you can order later as the Naan may get rubbery.. then 10min later we needed to place another set of Naan and rumali roti and he says the kitchen is closed.. I can't do anything.. nor can I provide any rice.. and we are about 10of us and half full! When it comes to food and denying food to a hungry person whether it is at a restaurant or at home is thr biggest disrespect and barbarian nature of human as it gets!
You left us half empty in our hearts and stomach! I hope you learn there's more to business than just...
