Time Out Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Livonia

HORRIBLE! We went there to celebrate a close friends birthday. We were gonna surprise him. If you saw us you can tell we arnt exactly "football fans" cuz it was superbowl sunday today. Anyways I went to the jupe box with my boyfriend to pick some better music. Then he walked away from me to go to the bathroom. and i was by myself for a sec. Once i got done picking music out the bar tender/owner/ manager whatever calls me over and asks how long we were planning on staying. I was shocked and confused by this question. I explained that we were waiting on a couple more people becuase it was our friends birthday. He responded to me in a very rude manner that we had to leave by 4:30 becuase of Super Bowl sunday. And that the tables we were sitting at were "reserved". I call bullshit. Becuase there were PLENTY of tables to go around and the fact he decided to tell us after we already bought food was odd . bottom line he was an idiot. He then came by the table helped our waitress pick up our empty trays then we heard him clear as day tell the waitress "get them out of here". We know thats what he said becuase our waitress verbally comfirmed that he wanted us to leave. We did not do anything wrong. We came in bought food and were gonna order drinks but he lost business there. Yes the food was amazing our waitess was a sweetheart but that manager is a bigot. He treated us like we were trash. Never going back. We all feel it was becuase of the way we looked. We were all hipsters/ nerds/ biker types. It was unbelievable how he...

I've wanted to try this place for awhile now, as I heard their burgers were great, and they get decent reviews on google. When it comes to bar burgers, I wasn't impressed. The burgers weren't cooked as we ordered, both less cooked than requested, but we weren't going to send them back as we already put toppings on them. We did tell our waitress though, and she apologized. They looked and tasted like the kind of pre-formed burgers you buy from Costco or Sam's, and just didn't have that authentic beef burger taste. I'll pass on going back; I prefer other places in the area for a good bar burger. Just my opinion- you might like it though, so I'd recommend trying it...

We decided to try something new that was near home, so we went to Time Out because they had good Google reviews (I'm really big on only patronizing businesses with good reviews). They definitely lived up to the hype. The food was excellent (nice portions) and the bartender, who told us she works on Wednesday evenings, was very attentive and super friendly. There's plenty of TV screens to watch a game. The women's bathroom was very clean, updated and well-stacked, which in my opinion is a sign that the staff and owners care about their patrons. Their prices were very reasonable too. Can't wait to go back...
