1st off! Madd respect 4 the detroit distillery whiskey barreled MF doomcakes- legendary homage beer- a massive chocolate cake imperial stout svelte-ly concealed glove packing a 14% abv bourbon-barreled punch honoring an criminally-forgotten hiphop legend. My mom compared it to kalua. Every single beer i tried; more than very good.. please stay spooky! It's not a theme - it's a way of life. Food looked excellent - and nice layout for group events. The juggalo(icp) was so unique, the kolsch literally (butterbeer) mouthfeel was buttery(NOT remotely close to a traditional) but. I absolutely loved that. I should have tried the pumpkin squash beer. Absolutely MUST!! TRY for craftbeer professionals.. worth the 40-minute drive, including passing 7 other breweries to get here šŸŽƒ šŸŗ new favorite brewery šŸ‘»šŸ»

I'm shaking my fist at my past self for not stopping by this place sooner! The food was so delicious! It far exceeded my expectations. As someone who doesn't drink beer, I always skipped this charming brewery, but I'll be a regular now. It's worth the visit just for the food and atmosphere. They have great craft beer and a full bar. It's the perfect place for a pint and some board games from their collection. We stopped by to check out their Sunday Brunch. So many places try their own modern spin on biscuits and gravy, but their's is actually done well. The chorizo gravy with eggs and expertly smoked bacon paired perfectly well together. Also tried the chorizo hash and it was excellent. Everything we tried was cooked with the skill of a master chef. Including the donuts and ice cream dessert.

Everything was amazing! I tried the vegan pulled pork and it was delicious! All of the beers I tried were excellent! Edit: I was just there today 1/25/19 and I left because I had been waiting for someone to take my drink order for over 20 minutes. I am very frustrated because I was barely acknowledged. Plus, the waiter took the order of a larger table who arrived after me. I feel like that only happened because I was a party of 2. Very disappointed because I love the food and beer but the customer service was awful. What makes it worse is that the place was empty. We left and went to Canton Brew Works, highly recommend everyone try Canton Brew Works. You’ll have a beer in your hand within 5 min of walking in. Unlike at Supernatural.

Supernatural is a cool experience. Go order up at the counter, find a place to sit. They have outdoor seating which is nice too. We only got the food once, but it was AWESOME. Highly recommend.

As far as the beer goes, we like it, but we don't love it. In my opinion their "normal" menu beers are fine. Nothing spectacular though. The reason for my lengthy review is I would really like to see some changes as I'd come here a lot more often.

What we really hate are the small batch, experimental beers. A few in no particular order Caramel Apple, Aztec Goddess, Blue Dream, Hellvan. These are actually all pretty gross. Maybe good for a sip or 2. The good news is we got them in a flight, but if I were served these in a 16 oz there's no way I could finish them.

It's irritating because i know this place can make good beer. But the ones I mentioned above are EXTREMELY cloudy and thick. They actually seem like it's just beer mixed with juice and spices, but not "beer". They're almost the consistency of a mead. The Hellvan in particular could've been good, but they just went WAY too hard on the spices.

My recommendation? Anything that says lactose, milkshake, hazy (aside from the hazed and confused), or talks about cinnamon/vanilla...just stay away from it or get it in a flight like we did.

My suggestion to Supernatural would be to simply to focus on 4-6 staples (let us know what those staples are.) and then do some smaller batch stuff. Was surprised no summer ale or anything like that.

That said - love to support this place because the whole Supernatural theme is awesome, the people are great. Just would like to see a little more work done to making...

We’ve been here twice and were excited to try it because of the atmosphere. The food is delicious and hearty, and their beers are great. With the place’s theme, decorations, and the available board games, we wanted to make it a regular spot so badly. Unfortunately all of the positives were tainted by the rudeness of the male staff. The two white male bartenders seemed to be annoyed that we had the audacity to order food and drinks at the bar. They rolled their eyes, made audible snide comments about us, made fun of my friends’ orders to other staff when they thought we couldn’t see them, and were just the unfriendliest bar staff I’ve ever encountered. After one visit with this happening, we could forgive it. Maybe staff were having a bad day. Maybe us newcomers weren’t ordering correctly? But we went again and it was the same two white guys. Same attitude. Same looks and eye rolls. The icing on the cake was being absolutely ignored by the shorter of the bartenders. He saw us and did a complete 180 turn and went to complete other tasks at the end of the bar. We were in the front of the food ordering line, the only ones in the food ordering line, and he did every other thing he could before taking our orders. It was noticeably uncomfortable and patrons sitting at the bar even looked at us while it was happening. It sucks that such a great food spot is just tainted by the jerks who work there. Maybe it’s the area of Livonia that’s the problem. Or maybe they don’t like getting new customers. I guess it’s too bad we won’t be back again. Maybe we’ll check again in a couple of years and hopefully that staff will be gone or have an...

We had a gathering at the bar last night with several of our friends from HS. We had ordered appetizers for the group instead of individual orders. We were greeted with meatballs, shrimp cocktail, salad, and chicken wings.

Being diabetic I was very happy to see proteins and salad and started with a huge bowl of salad. After a couple mouthfuls it was clear that the greens had not been washed. There was the unpleasant taste of sand and dirt in my salad. Others in the group confirmed this fact.

Disappointed I turned to the shrimp cocktail. It looked fantastic. I grabbed a shrimp by the tail and put the other end in my mouth as one does and bit into a frozen piece of shrimp. It wasn't just frozen there was actually ice on it. It was like they just bought across the street at the grocery and it hadn't had time to thaw.

I turned to the meatballs and they were good. They were warm and cooked through. I was happy there was something good to eat. I also enjoyed the wings which were also good. They had set out sauces for the wings and those too were good.

Long story short. This is a brewery, not a food place, in my experience. These appetizers were good to extremely poor. I can't recommend anywhere that doesn't take the time to make sure the customer is presented with the best of the best.

There are other remarks to be made about the decor and condition of the bar but the food needed to be addressed here. If one chooses to come here I would only...
