I was there this morning 10/13/19 around 4:45am. When I walked in I made eye contact with a young man in the lobby sitting in chair on his phone with his headphones in. He looked at me and rolled his eyes, like I had inconvenienced him. Not a minute later my husband walked in. Then this young man shot up from the chair and started walking around the counter. I was shocked. I thought he was a customer, not an employee. With a terrible tone and attitude he asked what we wanted. I was ready to walk out. I felt so uncomfortable and unwanted but we were leaving town for a long drive. I needed this coffee. We order anyway hoping for things to turn around. It didnt. While making our coffees I witnessed another customer pull into the drive thru, the employee had such a negative tone and attitude that the customer didnt order. They just left, speeding out of the parking lot like I should have. By the way we only ordered 2 coffees. My coffee tasted wrong but I didnt want a confrontation with this guy, afraid of what he might do or say to me. My cream, sugar, and flavor shot were at the bottom. He didnt even stir the coffee.
I only came to this Tim Hortons because you are open 24 hours and I would've had to wait 15-20 minutes for the inkster rd/96 location to open. My mistake. Next time I will wait or drive a little furthur. We are not...
Read moreI rely heavily on delivery services as I’m not able to drive, so consistency and accuracy in my orders are incredibly important. Unfortunately, the Tim Hortons at this particular location has consistently provided the worst service I’ve ever experienced.
Not once has my order been correct from this store. I routinely order a mocha, and without fail, I receive black coffee instead. On top of that, half of my order is often missing. Attempting to reach the location by phone leads nowhere, as the voicemail is always full—making it impossible to speak with anyone to resolve the issue.
What’s especially frustrating is that other nearby Tim Hortons locations manage to get it right. They either fulfill the order accurately or communicate when something is unavailable and make appropriate substitutions. This tells me the problem is specific to how this location is being managed.
Whoever is overseeing operations at this store may benefit from additional training, particularly around quality control, customer service, and team accountability. It's essential to remember that these orders are for real people, families, kids, sometimes even pets. If staff cannot take that responsibility seriously, perhaps working in food service is not the right fit.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as the current state of service is simply...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I just visited Tim Hortons for the second time in my life. The Livonia location on 5 Mile and Merriman. First encounter was drive through employee on the speaker. Rude, abrupt and unfriendly. Not even a good morning or HI. Just “what do you want to order”. Then when I said “we are not sure please give us a minute”, she replied “what?” I repeated myself and then after a few seconds she said “do you know what you want yet?”. I said no please give us a minute. We then ordered 2 sausage croissants and two small black coffees. She abruptly told us our total and that was it. I turned to my boyfriend and said “oh my gosh how unbelievably f-ing rude, horrible customer service.” Got to the window and the young lady at the window (not sure if it was same person that took our order or not) was SSOOOO much more polite and friendly. She even smiled. Well she got the exact same in return from me, politeness, thank yous and happy holiday. Doesn’t matter if we can’t see your face, your manners make an impression. Same goes for the customer. Don’t be rude. Unfortunately when we got home our croissants (at least I think that’s what they were supposed to be) where smashed and burnt in a panini press. I’m not sure if that’s the Tim Horton way or not. never going to a Tim...
