Quickly Boba Cafe - Livonia — Restaurant in Livonia

Kids ran in grandma waited in car... so according to shift manager my MIL is lying that it took 20 minutes for "rolled ice cream " but 17 min mark grandma peaked in asking what's taking so long & young staffer tell my kids "sorry I can't make ice crazy in 30 seconds " as soon as grandma went back outside... tough to talk back to a child but not the Adult inquiring about seeing 5 customers get orders b4 our paid order.. my son was unsure about tipping & said no so hard not to think that's why service was un quick & staff was rude... so when we all are replaced by ai robot kiosks know it's because of poor customer service & un caring management.. I did speak with shift management & was told she was there whole time & all above was false... so my kids & mother in law were 30 min later than normal after-school drop off because they definitely were not in this store waiting 20 minutes for ice cream... 1st & last experience @ this establishment & so glad my pre teen didn't actually tip ... if he would have went to car in timely fashion grandma would have explained it & sent him back in with a few dollars.... ... daughter didn't like the Boba, I couldn't stomach it & the ice cream was...

Normally I get Doordash delivery from this cafe. I switched to pickup and normally they’re AMAZING! Tonight I ordered my drink for Doordash pickup. I received text saying it was ready. I drove 25 minutes and not only was the barista not a friendly as typical staff, she had NO idea there was a Doordash. AGAIN not typical. Without a word or apology she steps away and starts the drink I ordered almost half hour ago. I got the text again, go inside and my drink is just sitting on the counter, again no acknowledgment or apology. Top it off with generous n-word expletives blaring through the speakers while a mother and her young child attempted to play a board game. Normally when I arrive staff is friendly and prompt! They’re efficient with the product and always professional and kind. Today was a total miss and I hope to not encounter her again. Also, being African American it was very uncomfortable when customers awkwardly glanced at me because of the slurs on the music lol! I was non responsive but wasn’t fun at all! Overall excellent...

2025 Update: The smoke smell is no longer an issue in the building which is fantastic! It never stopped us from going but I did always kind of dread that smell lol. Make sure you get the clover app to get free drinks or discounts. This is still by far the best Boba shop in Livonia. You can not beat the price for what you get and if you love Boba and use the app you'll be getting free drinks in no time. The owner is a fantastic lady and they have more help. I also really like that on most drinks you can get less sugar. Tapioca is usually ready by 11:30am so we always know when to drop in for fresh tapioca.

Still the best place to get boba. Don't forget to grab a punch card and work on getting a free boba! We come here all the time. Everyone is always nice. There is an option for everyone and they have really fun seasonal drinks for every holiday. For the price you can not beat how much you get. Hands down still the best boba joint in the area....
