2nd Update: Sunday evening- Ordered online. Web says ready by 6:06.
Get to store at 6:06, no order in sight. Not busy one person in line. Bought some chips and waited.
After 10 minutes I asked the bearded guy(owner?) about the order. His response : "We are very busy". And walked away. Finally a very nice lady who overheard me ask came over and asked the name on the order. She found it. She said she never got the ticket. Huh!? She immediately went to work on it. Mr. Beard is still making sandwiches one at a time (Other Jersey Mike's have a system that works, not here). Finally get the sandwiches at 6:32. Yeesh!! Is it really that hard?? Hellooo Subway...
Update: Ordered online and paid. Friday night expect some delay. Web site says 15 minutes. Get to the shop 25 minutes later. Not ready. Two other customers waiting also. Get the food and come home.
Web site asks Who is this for. Name all sandwiches. No names on any of the sandwiches or bags??
Web site says Make special requests like "include extra napkins" I made that request: No napkins (seeing a pattern?)
Asked for extra onions and vinegar on two of the sandwiches; Got No onions and Extra Oil (YUK).
Skip this place at least on Friday evenings.
5:45 in the afternoon visit. 11 people in line. Waited 18 minutes to place my order. Pointed out to the manager he needed more help on the line. One fellow in a red shirt standing waiting to wrap sandwiches. Poor blond girl is topping and dressing 4 sandwiches while he stands there. They need two people dressing sandwiches. Managers response: "We have enough help". Ordered a hot sandwich and waited 9 minutes after paying to receive it. Yeesh. If you are not...
Read moreWent in tonight and ordered a chicken bacon ranch and a supreme club in a bowl. I guess the first red flag should have been when the girl doing the toppings asked if we wanted lettuce in the bowl....? They then forgot to put the bacon in that bowl. Which wasn't caught until the cashier noticed it. Instead of getting the people who were working on the toppings side to put the bacon on, they put one glove on and added the bacon. No washing of hands or getting the people who should have sanitary gloves on to add the bacon. We then ended up waiting 10 mins on the hot chicken bacon ranch sub. Grill cook was not wearing anything to keep their hair out of the food, btw. When we got home, we realized that it was just overcooked chicken on bread. No ranch, bacon, or any of the toppings that I asked for. The lady taking our order wrote it all down. It just seems like the people who actually made our order dropped the ball. Paying over $25 for a regular sized sub and a bowl seems even more outrageous when you don't even get what you're asking for. Heck, we didn't even get what they advertise in the sub. 🤷🏻♀️
Update: Giving the comment from Jersey Mike's, it seems like they appreciate getting feedback from it's customers but are not willing to rectify the situation. Where is the customer service in that? Why even comment back if you're not going to give a solution to the problem? Why would that make me want to come back to your business? Seems they need to work on more than just...
Read moreI stood there waiting to be checked out; My sub was already finished and wrapped. The cashier ignored me for three older white gentlemen and expected me to wait for her to ring them up, despite the fact that they hadn’t even had their sandwiches made yet. She looked at me and knew that she had placed their order in front of mine despite my sandwich already being done. This was a blatant act of racism and I don’t encourage any other person of color to eat there. She purposely ignored me being there after I was already in front of the gentleman who was playing for a group of people. There is nothing quite worse than being the only African American in an establishment and to be treated as if my money isn’t pure enough. There was no reason I should have been ignored when my sandwich was already done. I guarantee you if I go back they still won’t make it right. I believe a few trainings on racial biases wouldn’t hurt you all. I mean, I’ve never seen a person a color that works there either. To all people of color wanting to go to this location, be prepared to be ignored and treated as if you are as useless as the scrap pieces of lettuce they throw away after it falls off the sides...
