McDonald's — Restaurant in Locust

We hadn't had Mcdonald's in years so we decided to go for it! There was zero waiting time. The order taker was very cordial. The cashier made a very small mistake and had pushed the cash button instead of card button so instead of making me wait they took the cash I had on hand and took care of the difference just like that. The cashier was especially friendly as was the manager who's only concern was not having me to have to wait for anything and making me pleased. They made me feel like an important customer and I won't forget that! I wish I could give five stars but some things bothered me...they were not wearing masks and those who were wearing masks did not use them properly, gloves were not used and I feel that restaurants should use gloves, the person at the pickup window was too hurried and the company should give the pick up window more help and an always welcomed "have a nice day" at the end of the transaction...not to say I wasn't wished a well day at the payment window because I certainly was but the employee at the pickup window was stressed and hurried. That employee should have more help which equals less stress and in turn comes across to the customer better. The only other thing is that my fries had looked like they were thrown in and, after years of not having Mcdonald's, I was really looking forward to seeing those fries standing upright just like I had remembered from before. Could of just been a mistake or hurriedness and I understand. Presentation of food is very important to me and that's why I bought the fry issue up. I think a corporation as large as Mcdonald's could spare some time on their own employees to make them feel appreciated and less hurried by providing more support at the pickup window. Happy employees equals happy customers so take that to heart Mcdonald's and do your part to make everyone feel special and important... employees and customers alike. We were pleased by the kindness and quality of the food. We will visit again in the future. I recommend the McDonald's in Locust as one of the best...

Let's start by saying this was a terrible visit everything went well when I first ordered the Lady working notified me that they were out of ice cream for the mc flurry no big deal and asked me if I wanted to supplement it for a menu item which I got a single cheeseburger. Time came around the group I was with got their food first no big deal but when 10 or more orders came and got their food and my food was not ready I had some questions not to forget this was 30 minutes after I placed my order. So I went to check on my food and the Lady working went to check my order number 227 and orders with the number 240 started coming out I informed her of this and how my number was not on the screen. I waited some 15 minutes or so at this time I had enough I asked for a refund and the Lady working got an attitude and told me to stop being shy and to speak up twice all I was wanting is my refund she finally went to the manager and the manager was disappointed in the staff and was very polite. Also, my friend ordered a mc chicken and never received it 50 minutes later he checked on it a second time and the same Lady I was dealing with got an attitude accusing one of our group members of taking his order she said she remembered setting it out she did but it was not ours or our group's order that's why we did not take it. She finally gave him his food and we left we did have quite a few people in our group but this was no way to behave other customers had problems with their orders. We decided to go to Jersey Mike's instead they were busy but were working hard and will not be returning anytime soon the workers do not value...

Don't come here trust me on this one. I've done a lot of reviews for a lot of different places and I've never been as harsh as I'm going to be on this place I used to come here all the time every day and get an item from their McCafe line they're not very good at all at making the product that I like there's only been a couple times that they've actually made it correctly and it's also a franchise which I understand franchises charge more but their prices are outrageous I can go to a different McDonald's 10 miles down the road and get the same product for five or six bucks I go to this McDonald's however the same thing cost me 12 it's ridiculous the only reason that you're not getting a one-star is because the customer service there it's actually not bad every time I've went in there to replace the product I've gotten when they've made it incorrectly they fixed it for me no questions asked and at no charge these people have such potential for a great great McDonald's they're the only ones around in this area instead of standing out and making it a pleasurable experience they instead offer a mediocre product at an outrageous price. I feel like they think since they're the only ones around their thought process is where else are they going to go they have no choice but to come here so we can be as crappy as we want and they can't do anything about it. It's such a shame they can be so much greater than they actually are. Don't come here drive the extra 10 or 12 miles to the other McDonald's in Concord or Albemarle or Harrodsburg. trust me if you come here you'll see what I mean and your wish you would...
