The atmosphere is nice and comfortable. We were greeted as soon aa we entered and welcomed to seat ourselves. The hostess came promptly to our table to take our drink order and inform us the Clam Chowder was the soup of the day.

I ordered the Vegi-Lovers with Egg Beater and my husband ordered the Meat Lovers. Our meals arrived in a amazing time frame from ordering, hot and seasoned well. The portions were huge. The Bacon that was ordered on the side was cooked at perfect crispness. We never had to ask to refills on our beverages, more napkins or condiments. The waitress was very of her tables and the needs of her customers before being asked....That is a A+ in my husband's book. The waitress also ensured to ask how our meal was. She was always smiling and very pleasant.

Once we finished our meal the waitress asked if we were finished before removing our plates, and returned with the bill, face down. She thanked us for our service and then she did something that was quite wonderful.....she said that she looks forward to seeing us return. That was very refreshing as it was obvious that we were not locals.

Our overall experience was very pleasant and my husband and I will most definitely return, as well as share this restaurant with our...

My niece picked this place for her and I to meet, she came from North, I came from South. She chose this restaurant from the list on internet. It was soooooooo wonderful. I arrived first, about 11:30 a.m. At that time there was a wait, about 4 groups were outside waiting. I was in the handicapped parking in front of the front door. A woman customer came out walked by my car and we talked. She is a regular there, she told how good the food was and plentiful. She offered to put my name on the wait list. She did. A few minutes later a waitress came out to my car and verified my name and how many, with a smile. She said I could stay in the car, she would come and get me. So nice. My niece arrived at the time she came out to get me, again with a smile. She led us to our table and someone else took over. Bottom line, super great service, super great good, and plentiful. Every employee went out of their way to be of help, with a smile and kind words. Definitely recommend this restaurant to any and all. We will be going back. Thank you Avenue Grill for a...

Wow, there’s just so many great things to say about Avenue Grill. The food is excellent no matter what you get, it’s made quickly and well. The pancakes are amazing, the French toast is to die for and the burgers are delicious. I’m not sure there’s any complaint that I have with them. The staff is hospitable, kind, attentive, professional and just a joy to be served by. Makes giving tips a cinch because they enjoy earning them. It’s a hoppin restaurant at many times throughout the day on most days of the week. The beginning of the week is certainly quieter in the early mornings which is nice and sometimes if you sit at the bar the cook may just reward you with something free to eat. I’ve been given a free breakfast on a couple of occasions by the owner. It was quite a ways back, but really shows loyalty to those who visit often. Even if I was never given anything free again, it won’t stop me from going or sharing about them to...

A few months ago I was driving through Lodi with a few others. They were hollering that they were hungry and wanted to stop for breakfast. But they insisted on no chain restaurants or fast food. So we googled and found Avenue Grill. So glad we dined here. The food was traditional classic American fare served up by the nicest staff (which was ethnically diverse). The vibe is welcoming. I noticed that the staff knew a lot of the regular folks (also ethnically diverse) by name. They serve up breakfast and lunch. They are known for their signature giant flapjack. $5.99. But none of us ordered. Next time for sure. Anyways, I got with eggs and bacon breakfast. Simple and prepared right. Luved it. Prices weren’t bad. The menu options were plentiful. The place is on the smallish side. They have tables and a counter. When the dining room is full, it’s cozy cramped. The noise level can get loud.

A local recommended this to us as we were passing through. We had a small 6x10ft trailer in tow so we asked for a recommendation for a restaurant nearby that could accommodate our"rig". Parking wasn't as accommodating as we hoped since the nearby stores were quite busy, but thankfully we found a place to squeeze in. We ordered lunch, but watched as the enormous great looking plates of breakfast food were delivered to nearby tables. We tried the grilled chicken sandwich & the little burger. Chicken sandwich was good. The burger was very heavy on bun. The highlight for us was the fries. They were absolutely wonderful as was the attentive service!!!

Good restaurant, very busy on a Sunday morning but still only waited barely ten minutes for a table. Fast service. Take note, Google maps shows two entrances for cars. Don't take the one off Hutchins because you can't see the restaurant. You end up driving up to a place called Java Stop though if you take the entrance a few yards past Java Stop you can follow their parking lot around until Avenue Grill comes into view. If you take the Lodi entrance you can see it right away. Ps.huge portions. Go there hungry and you'll definitely walk away full though there are lighter options too. I highly recommend the potato platter or Denver omelette.
