Chop Chop — Restaurant in Lodi

Chop Chop.... Just as the name implies, it's quick here. FYI Takeout only!!! Some say it's the best in town. It was voted #1 several times so that may be true. There are a couple other places that I like but I only visit when I want to dine in. When I pick up the phone for take out this is my first and only call.

I know what I like and that's just about everything on the menu. The location is convienent from just about anywhere in town. During prime hours parking can be tough, ok, it's alwsys busy. Inside there are 4 chairs in a 10'x 10' waiting area. It's not uncommon to need to wait outside till someone walks out with a box full of to-go containers so you can squeeze in and check on your order.

At the counter you'll get a hand full of soy sauce packets, fortune cookies and hot mustard if you dare.

My suggestion is if you know what you like then call it in. Loretta will tell you that it'll be 10 to 15 min. Least it is for my standard go to meal of Fried Rice And Chow Mien. More extensive requests and and those items that just take a little longer may have you showing up in 20 min, 30 tops.

If you crave Chinese food, don't hesitate to call. I promise you will not be disappointed.

I ordered dinner for 2 (chow mein, fried rice, sweet/sour pork, 6 ragoons) and added a side of chicken egg rolls (3) it was only $27 👍 my husband and I had plenty leftover to feed a third adult; our containers were PACKED! Before I left from picking it up they also loaded me up with cookies, soy sauce, and extra sweet/sour sauce without having to ask. It was very fast, only 20 minutes and they were super nice when I arrived. Everything tasted amazing! The sweet and sour pork was THE BEST! The chicken egg rolls are HUGE! I like the food, for the price it’s great. I would come more often if I actually felt safe to even pick up food. The sign outside says you have to wear a mask, maintain 6 ft distance, and only 3 people inside. THIS IS FALSE. They allow any irresponsible person to walk in without a mask or they let them remove the mask once inside. I saw a woman with spit flying out of her mouth into the food leaning over the glass and no one stopped her. I saw a guy walk in with no mask at all. Over 3 people were inside too.
