Noriega's Chicken Grill — Restaurant in Lodi

I would to share my opinion about this restaurant. I've have been eating here for a long time and I return because of how good the food is. Service can be pretty spotty but it never got to the point... until Sunday. On that Sunday morning I came to a fairly busy Sunday but I was able to get my order in to go right away. I was giving a pager to be called when my order was done. I waited for about 10 min and still nothing. After another 5 well still nothing someone asked what I was waiting for and all I was waiting for was a burrito. Other came after me and was seated and it attended to ToGo order and left. I was still waiting for me food even after 20 min. The lady who took my order finally saw that I still not had gotten my food. A gentleman who I'm guess was a server said that my ticket fell and they didn't even stated making my food. so then after finally in totally of about 25 min of waiting for my good. My lady in front grabbed the food from the server and handed to me and left. Nothing of an apology or hey can I make it up to you with something. Nothing. I was really disappointed to know the waiters of the table who were the only ones that did ask but technically wasn't their fault with the wait time I had to deal with. Sadly that would be the last time I would step into the place. Not because of the food. Because the food is amazing and I recommend it. But the service I received from one of the employees. I was excited to try this place. It is called a Noriega's Chicken Grill, yet they only serve Mexican food, they even have a huge BBQ in the back, so it was a little confusing. We were the only people there at 12 noon on a taco Tuesday, it should have been very busy. However, the staff was very accommodating. The food was not the best. The tortilla soup, was just that a bowl of CLEAR broth with tortillas and cheese with absolutely no flavor or spices. (I have never eaten this soup that didn't have chili powder, onion, garlic cumin) The Asada Fries fared no better, it came with plank fries on the bottom ( unsalted and bland) the Asada had literally no flavor, no spices. Event the hot sauce was bland, no spice just hot ( i have no idea how that can be ) the green salsa was thin and watery. The restaurant is large and clean and the staff is friendly. Ordered the meat lovers tray and two dozen of tortillas, called ahead of time and got an estimated wait time of 20 minutes which wasn’t no problem. Arrived 20 minutes later and entered the restaurant to where I was told I had to wait another 20 minutes. No issues so I went back to my vehicle and proceeded to wait another 20 minutes and then headed back and thankfully my food was ready but I was told that even though I had called and placed an order of two dozen tortillas, they didn’t have anymore. And as the employee said this, I saw a waitress coming out of the kitchen with tortillas, which got me upset considering I called ahead of time.Once I got home and finally opened the tray, I was astonished and frustrated that a lot of food was missing such as the tri tip which is advertised in the tray.
