Be aware, your visiting a taco truck. I think some reviewers may be confused as if they are dining at Fogo de Chao. After moving here, I’ve been surprised to see the amount of bland options or plates that don’t stand out in anyway. I went to Google for guidance and wanted to try something different to bring back for dinner for a few folks. Trying the basics I grabbed Chicken Burritos, 1/2 Chicken Plate, chips & Salsa. Chicken is fresh, not fatty in anyway. The burrito was a big boy FULL of everything we love, Meat, Cheese, Rice, Pinto Beans and Pico. This is the kind of burrito you split in half and eat the next day or the kind you gorge yourself in starvation and food coma shortly after… (Both options are wonderful land acceptable) The meat seasoned to perfection. The chips are the thick cut tortillas fried and the salsa is exactly what I’ve been trying to find in the town. Salsa = light N chunky… not paste that is all one color. I don’t think any selection on their menu could be prepared poorly unless it’s a local competitor trying to pull shenanigans. The owner knows what they are doing. I called in my order after reviewing the options online and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Order was packaged up well to travel… no surprise blow outs on the way home. Everything was on the bag. I just wish I ordered more salsa! Would love to be able to buy this by the pint! It wasn’t too hot nor mild. If your nervous, start small with the burrito but trust the reviewers and know you’ll be pleased where your money is spent. Moving from Portland Oregon, land of the Food Trucks… This truck is worthy and isn’t going anywhere. Support the...
Read moreIncredible food. But I'm rating it 3 stars because taste isn't everything. Every time I come here I get treated worse. I asked for both of their salsa flavors and I keep getting a stink eye. Then they told me because I got only 4 tacos and not more food I could only have one salsa flavor. They even asked me to give them a salsa packet back after asking for their red salsa lol. Why so stingy? Every taco truck I've ever known just lets us put whatever salsa we want on our food. Or will give us as much salsa as we need. All I need are 2 salsa packets. I've never had more than 2 unless they willingly gave me more.
Also you guys really need a verde salsa. Your green salsa isn't too great. Hence why I keep asking for your red salsa.
Plenty of taco trucks in town that are good competitors that I will go to instead that are much more kind and aren't so weird about their salsa. You guys could consider just putting out salsa for us to put on our tacos ourselves so we don't bug you too much. I'm only gonna come back a couple more times to see if they improve. If they do il change my review to 5 stars. Great food. But are salsa naziis....
Read moreFood was good, but they overcharged me. Ordered a Birria quesadilla, birria tacos and 2 drinks. Supposedly that came to $36. Which should have been about right. I Later got another Birria quesadilla to go and was charged $29?! My husband then decided he wanted an Horchata and they charged $14?! I handed my card off, and yes it was my fault for not looking at the price. But there's no way another quesadilla should have been $29, and an horchata $14. I have been unable to get through to the number listed, so I'm in the process of disputing the charge. Bottom line, use cash! Don't pay with a card. No Horchata was worth $14! Or they added their own...
