Xavier is the mattress man! I would and will recommend him in a heartbeat. I have struggled SOOO much with finding a mattress that didn’t aggravate my many health conditions. I have a really messed up back - Scoliosis Kyphosis Spondyliosis and stenosis, as well as rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. I have been sentenced to sleeping in my power lift recliner the last couple of years. It’s been incredibly frustrating and is not doing my relationship any favors. I spent a hell of a lot more $$$ than I wanted to but Xavier helped me see that with my conditions and needs I needed a higher quality brand mattress and a FULLY adjustable base probably more importantly than the mattress itself. He was absolutely correct! Now that I’ve had one I’ll never consider any future bed without a fully (head, feet and extra added core support) adjustable frame. I’ve been eying PURPLE brand mattresses for quite some time. I’ve done a lot of homework and due diligence in asking everyone and anyone their mattress reviews. The grid support married with the other support technology makes sense to me. I’ve only had the bed for about 10 days now but I am cautiously optimistic! So far I have gotten more and better sleep in these 10 days than I have in the past 3 months! I’m finally sleeping WITH my husband again! Like I said earlier - I spent a lot more than I wanted to but not waking up in pain and hating life before I even get out of bed has become truly “priceless” to me! Xavier was very patient and kind with my concerns and indecisiveness. He really knows the brands/products and I felt like he truly respected and cared about helping ME find a solution to MY sleep problems. From the start my experience at this location was unpleasant. I went to go pick out a mattress for my spouse and I and the salesman (Kenny) warned me that my husband would complain about the mattress I picked because he sees this happen all the time. When I told him we were looking for a firm mattress because I wanted to follow the safe sleep 7 and bed share, he kept trying to talk me into a medium firmness. While it may be “less comfortable” I specifically wanted to purchase a mattress that was firm for bed sharing. Kenny kept telling me about how unsafe it is to bed share, and while unconventional, he as a random mattress salesman in logan doesn’t know better than numerous studies and researchers who I am closely following. When I asked him to stop talking about my decision to bed share he kept bringing it up. He tried suggesting a feature that I was not comfortable with and kept pushing it for an uncomfortable amount of time. When we were making the purchase, he wasn’t familiar with current promotions and tried to sell me a $180 base when the website had an offer for a $499 base free. Right as we were about to leave he made some weird comment about his wife and her decision with how his children slept. The jury is still out on how I feel about the mattress. It is definitely more firm. My last one was old and saggy, so I suppose I got used to that and was expecting a big change and wonderful sleep. It has been ok. We are rotating the mattress as much as possible so we don't get the imprints the last one did right away that just got deeper. The customer service however was exceptional. On Black Friday we had a mission to get a mattress. We went to another place that had a deal and weren't impressed. We were frustrated and thought about just giving up, then on a whim we drove by and decided to turn into Mattress Firm, not knowing anything about them or their mattresses. We came upon an excellent Black Friday deal and an even better not pushy pleasant salesman. Rex was wonderful!! The process was quick and easy. The delivery people were wonderful and prompt. We were even able to track them. I wish I could say, the mattress is as exceptional as the customer service, but like I said the jury is still out. We have had it a week. They do have a 120 day guarantee. I'll give it a month and see how I feel. Don't misunderstand however, I do enjoy the mattress just fine, but I was just expecting fabulous for a...
