I placed an order through the online phone service. At the end of the call, the woman taking my order said, “Is this order for 715 Main St.?” And I said, “I’m not sure, is that the Station Park Farmington location?” And she said, “Yes.” When I arrived at the Farmington location, my order was not there. I clicked the address link that was sent to me and it did say Farmington but when I clicked the receipt link, it showed that my order was sent to Logan (an hour + north of me). The Farmington employees told me to call the Logan location and have my order canceled and refunded and they could make it and have me pay for it there. So I sat in a booth at the Farmington location and called the Logan location. The woman who answered told me she was unable to refund my order and that I would need to contact corporate to receive a refund and to go to their website. I looked around their website and couldn’t figure out where to go for a refund so I decided I’d call the same number I called to place the order. I told the woman about my issue and she placed me on hold to see what could be done. When she came back she was very nice but she said, “After speaking with others and with the Logan location, there’s actually nothing we can do to refund your money. You’ll need to contact corporate through our website by sending them an email.” I asked for the direct email address and she said that they do not give her that information. I told her I would have to go ahead and place a new order and pay for dinner twice tonight and worry about the refund afterwards. I know it’s not the employees fault but this is not a good system. The manager on duty at the Farmington location also seemed to be confused that they couldn’t give me a refund. He was kind and comped my meal so I did not have to pay twice tonight. I’m not sure who gets the 4.00 tip but if anyone gets a tip it should be the lead on duty at the...
Read moreI have a mixed review. The service was OK. Kind of in the middle. For a party of 5, ordering 5 things, we got 3 water cups. It would have been a bit difficult to tell how many we were, but they didn't ask, and there were obviously more meals. It was a bit confused as to who we told what part of our order to, and then what all was being paid for. It was like our orders were mixed in the line with others. It all got straightened out with smiles though, so not a big deal.
The food...first, I'll say that I will go back. We ordered:
2 kid Mac n cheese with chicken fingers. The chicken was cold, which was a surprise, and the cheese part of the Mac n cheese was like thick soup, and had a weird flavor (not bad, just not typical) to me.
Turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich. This was mine. I found it bland and a bit short on turkey.
A southwestern protein bowl. A salad with meat, in case you weren't sure. It was really good, and I may get this myself next time.
Bowl of clam chowder. I didn't taste (don't like seafood), but it was reported to be good, and they look forward to trying the one with lobster.
In all, it was good enough to try again, but I probably won't take my picky kids, as even I didn't care for the kid food. I look forward to trying the chicken tortilla chili, and looking at sandwiches again. I found the prices to be high for some things in particular, like my sandwich. My absolute FAVORITE thing though....the chocolate strawberries everybody got with their meal! I adore something different generally speaking, and those in particular. My daughter doesn't like chocolate on her berries, but I easily cracked it off for her. I would ask for a plain one if I took her again and felt, judging by the atmosphere, they would...
Read moreOrdered online and went to pick up when I was notified my food was ready. I waited in the mobile pickup/online order drive thru for 5 minutes with no response. I then tried to communicate with the drive thru order boxes themselves, again with no response. I drive around to the window and could see employees inside, but no one could be bothered to watch the drive thru. So I went inside. There were 6 employees there, but only 2 looked like they were doing anything. There was a line in front of me of 4 people, but only 1 employee was manning the front. The other employees were standing around talking and just staring at the customers. The one person working the front was so overwhelmed that to even get through one customer was taking 5+ minutes. Eventually I went around to the cashier's stand and flagged down an employee, who I then told I had an online order. She grabbed it and made a remark about how they thought I'd come through the drive thru. I responded saying I did but no one answered me. She apologized. I just want this feedback to make it to the employees working the shift tonight. The service they provided was not acceptable, and standing looking at customers in line rather than helping them or not looking at the drive thru is disappointing. I hope this Zupas...
