River View Restaurant — Restaurant in Logansport

Was driving from Illinois uncles funeral, for little over 5 hours. Looked on Google for places to eat on the way home. This place had 4.4 out of 5 stars. Figured must be good.went in around 6pm on Thursday. Had some tables in there,already eating. Smelled like old stale grease. Sat down waitress took our order. 2 Buffalo chicken wraps and a kids hamburger w fries. About 10 min later couple came in sat behind us. About another 5-10 minutes people sat other side of us. Both tables got their dinner actual dinner. So got up and leaving and waitress acted dumbfounded that we was leaving. As politely as I could explained how 2 wraps and a kids burger took so long,and people that ordered meals after us already eating their meals. Needless to say this place is a joke. Only thing I would recommend is to pass this place by,don't waste your time. Idk how they got 4.4 put of 5 but there is no way. If I could give 0 stars...

Nice place, food was good, beautiful location on the river, wonderful patio, friendly waitress…….. there were 4 of us, we ordered our food. Some folks followed us out to the patio then they ordered their food after us. They were done eating and leaving when we finally got our food. Something just didn’t add up. Im thinking they forgot our order because we sat 41min before we got our food served to us. Visited, Sunday 3-7-21, about 2:30 pm Out for a Sunday drive from Ft Wayne, we find this lovely place. Not busy at this hour but our waitress (who was only on her 3rd day), was very accommodating. I think she must have waitressed before. The Gyro wrap and the Mushroom Burger were ordered. The Cole slaw and French fries that accompanied our choices were perfect. Both meals would be easily chosen again but honestly, there is so much offered that I want to try many items. Dessert wasn't chosen but the choices looked so desirable.
