It was really interesting to learn about Logansports past and see all the great artifacts. This is a 3 story 1850 home with local history regarding the railroad, Erie canal, Native Americans, theater, military, medicine, logansport schools, floods and ice, and other everyday items from various points in history. I travel for work and have taken several historic home tours in my down time. This museaum is the most interesting and educational self guided tour I've taken. The house is beautifully restored. Check out the wood inlays in the floor!

Not much of a museum tbh this town has been around since the 1800's yet there isn't much to offer in any historical value, there is no explanation on the old cabins outside either. Logansport needs to invest in its roots.

I sent an email and left a voicemail message regarding an obituary that was on file. I suspected it was for a great-aunt that I was researching. I was very happy to receive a reply and phone call within several days. I was not at home when I received the phone call and would not be at home for several months. The person who called went above and beyond expectations when she read me the obituary and agreed to mail me a copy of the obituary and only asked that I mail a check after I received it. I was thrilled when my daughter sent me a copy of the obituary. I quickly mailed a check for the $10 fee. I only wish I had written down the name of the lovely lady who took the time to respond to my request. Thank you for your...

So much Cass County history. I went to get info for my art history report but intend to go back and spend some time. I really enjoyed seeing the art pieces and learning. There weren't any volunteers working that day, but Thelma was wonderful and very...
