Prices are slightly cheaper than Starbucks, taste is 100xs better in my opinion. Lots of seating in all different styles. They offer multiple different coffees that are locally made, ranging from mild to strong. They have a small selection of bagels and sweet breads if you need a snack. They serve one quick meal per day for lunch. They have a huge assortment of coffee drinks, and coffee free drinks. They offer many different teas and smoothies. They have fun seasonal drinks that are caffeine free and great for kids, things like reese's puff frappe or pineapple upside down frappe. There are instruments in the lounge that are there to play, chess boards, checkers, and all other different types of board and card games.
They are pet friendly and offer free water and a dog treat.
There is a local art gallery attached with all different medias displayed. In the back is a work studio that you can rent out for building and creating your own projects. They also do awesome live music on...
Read moreAfter stopping in Logansport for lunch, I decided I needed a caffeine fix. I looked up local coffee shops and stumbled upon Black Dog Coffee. It is a small shop attached to another business, so I missed the location on the first drive by their address. I had the zebra mocha, which was a delicious white chocolate and dark chocolate mix. It wasn't particularly busy when I stopped in, which gave me some time to walk around and view the artwork and knickknacks on the walls. Read moreI'd give this place an infinity of stars if I could. I've never seen another place like it in all my travels. It's more than a coffee shop. It is divided into a series of rooms. Some rooms have cozy, comfy chairs and couches. Tables set up to play games on. Walls lined with books to read. Board games you can play with your children or grandchildren. There is a nice bar in the back serving unique lagers beers, wine. They have community events like a writers group, talking books, live bands playing, amazing people like Olympian Dr. Greg Bell giving speeches. This place is everything. Oh, and the variety of coffee is...
