Downtown Logan location. Casual atmosphere with inside and outside dining available. Seems to draw a "regular locals crowd" on any given night but that doesn't mean you won't feel immediately comfortable and welcome whether it's your 1st or 101st visit. The menu is rather limited but the strong offerings that are available more than compensate for the concise menu.
They offer a variety of deli style sandwiches= hot and/or cold type options, as well as pizzas, amazingly delicious salads (more to say on those salads though!), Breaksticks with cheese, and a curious and tasty item called Irish Nachos= they consist of a layer of Tator Tot Potatoes topped with cheddar cheese, bacon and green onions then baked off til the tots crisp up and the cheese runs thick and smooth over the top. A side of creamy sour cream is included but certainly not needed; however, this last addition will rock your socks folks trust&believe!
About those salads though! First off, order one with the understanding that these salads are not your normal, boring, torn lettuce leaves on a small salad plate meant to start your meal off but definitely not finish it. Trust&Believe Dis Ain't Dat! The Boardwalk Salads are HUGE and are served in the coolest salad bowls angled on one side and filled to the brim. My mom and I often share a Cobb Salad and still don't finish one between both of us. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, with a casual charm that makes it perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and eager to make sure you feel at home, which really adds to the experience.
What truly sets The Boardwalk Café apart is the food—especially their baked sandwiches. They are absolutely fantastic. Each sandwich is made with fresh ingredients, baked to perfection, and packed with flavor. The bread comes out warm with just the right texture, slightly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, holding all the savory fillings together beautifully. Every bite is hearty, satisfying, and full of taste. It’s the kind of sandwich that makes you want to come back again and again just to try all the different varieties.
Between the delicious baked sandwiches, the inviting atmosphere, and the friendly service, The Boardwalk Café is a real gem in Logansport. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal at a...
Read moreThe only thing that is stopping me from giving a 5 star rating is the fact everytime I come in to get a takeout order, every few weeks, the card reader has an issue with my card and it ends up only charging my card half the price. I usually don't carry cash on me so it leaves me in a bind. It literally happens every time. So if this were to get fixed I would change my rating. The food is great, service is friendly and timely and the restaurant is clean and organized. Oh and I do hate there is no public restroom. It's not good when you dine in with small children or for someone like me who has medical needs to have a restroom near at all times. I'd love to see that issue get resolved at some point to although that could be...
